Not sure if its the crafting change itself or the way it was announced, feels shady. Feels last minute, feels like a dev with in depth unfair knowledge of the game compared to regular players discovered a busted crating interaction that could be abused in softcore markets so they nerfed an entire crafting system to fix one or two interactions.

" I don't contest that. I'm saying "it's harder" doesn't mean "I choose it because it's harder". People choose SSF for all kinds of weird reasons, and there's nothing wrong with that. |

" There aren't any contradictions between any modes, there are various modes with various challenges. SSF players adapt because they know how to do it, and hardcore SSF players adapt even more because the game mode is even more demanding. Softcore trade is easier than softcore SSF, which is easier than hardcore trade, which is easier than hardcore SSF. That's just a fact ! If you wanna be a good player, then just play as a good player, and it probably won't be playing in softcore trade mode. |

I saw the change in the releases as they where shown as light blue mods, im pretty sure, they needed to clarify this change, they had it already, making items is still easy, not being able to use DOUBLE essences was necessary, the access to mirror tier items in this game was ridiculous.
Hideout warriors mad cuz they cannot abuse the market with 10c items sold for 20d to the newbies and fubgooners lmao. |

This crafting change is absolutely horrible. Please revert. Essentially what youre doing is leaving the door open to make your future crafting currency or old currency irrelevant.

The change actually does the opposite!
We're now empowering hideout warriors with enough currency to hoard, resell, stare at live market searches, and play the softcore market like a stock market. If the only bar to giga crafting is crafting knowledge then anyone can do it if they just learn or think logically about the crafting system. Mirror tier items also weren't cheaply accesible with essneces in .4 I have/had an entire stash tab of bricked crafts with over 2000+ divs poured into whittle and omen of light spams for each item just to still have that craft not turn out right. What is the purpose of this crafting change? Add a limit to the alloy instead and leave the essence system as it is for now. Why make the game harder by fixing something that was working fine and that nobody was complaining about, instead of adding challenging content that gives players a goal to improve their gear and character?
What are we supposed to do right now to get at least T2 gear — spend 20 minutes in T10-15 maps and wisdom-identify all blue bases hoping for the right mods, or grind the breach tree for an entire week? Is that fun? I play this game because I love the genre. I don't care about graphics and effects - all I need is as much content as possible and the freedom to build my character. It feels like every GGG fix is just killing mechanics, the same way it happened with the Ingenuity belt. Now you are dismantling the crafting system that was introduced in previous patches - and for what? New alloy orbs? At some point the suffocating gameplay will push me away and I'll quit. |
