People act like party play is broken have never played the game with someone.... sad days when you make the monsters twice as hard but give 1.2 the amount of loot. How tf does that make sense? Not only that if you want to play with someone you share the loot so how in the world does it make sense that a full party gets the same amount of loot as a solo? Go watch empyirans breakdowns of group play and they get half the rewards per hour of solo. Hmmm almost seems like party play in fact doesint do anything to the economy.

The weirdest part of this debate is seeing people advocate against cooperative play in a game literally designed around online interaction, parties, trading, guilds, and a shared economy. If someone wants to play solo, that option already exists. But removing enjoyable group functionality because some people dislike parties creates an anti-fun environment for everyone else.
And honestly, why do some people care so much about how others play? Party play existed from 0.1 through 0.4 and it was never the reason a league failed. The most recent league had far bigger issues with the Temple mechanic than groups farming together. “You don’t want to play with friends, you only care about loot.” Loot is literally part of the gameplay loop. Of course people care about loot. This is an ARPG built around progression, item drops, crafting, and farming strategies. Wanting group play to feel rewarding does not somehow invalidate the social aspect of playing with friends. “You’re an RMTer abusing bugs and exploits.” No — some players simply have thousands of hours invested into learning strategies, optimizing builds, and understanding the economy. Gravebind Cuffs were not some game-breaking exploit; they were a unique item that actually incentivized cooperative gameplay in a system where 6-man groups already have to split profits and drops between multiple people just to make it worthwhile. Ultimately, I just want to play with friends and make currency at the same time, what is wrong with that? I guess I will just look forward to making more mirrors playing solo this league. |

" Only time party play did anything to the economy was in Temple, which got nerfed. Everyone acts like party play is something that just needs to be gutted and stripped away, when they don't realize how the hell it works. |

" 100000000000% This, I have not seen one person advocating against party play, that has any legitimate feedback. A lot of what looks like jealousy, or some weird delusion that nerfing party play will combat the RMTers that have existed in every online aRPG since OG Bnet days. No one would care if there were an abundance of support options to play, like there is in poe1. A lot of us who party play now, have thousands and thousands of hours playing solo and do just fine if not better economically than when we party play. But games were made to be played with friends. GGG please address this a different way, or give us some explanation on philosophy here. |

" this is pure lie as well as each attempt of party player to appear innocent, party play have destructive effect on each league in poe 1 and poe 2. for anyone wondering how party play works - 90-95% of all party players run the best strategy for currency and tier0 uniques, 90-95% of this players are solo players who operate 1 account themself and running with 5 bots in party. this players in example of poe 1 league daily generates 5-12 magebloods each of them as well as all other t0 uniques DAILY. this info was gathered when i was livesearching all t0 uniques for 3 weeks straight and each one of you can do the same, just take notes of accounts of all players who dumping tier0 uniques and you will find some interesting development of events - some of this players will be banned in 1-2 week, some of them will last all league and some of them will not be banned no matter what. actual party players who play game fair - they do not have such destructive effect only for 1 reason - THEY NEARLY DONT EXIST. after my research i forever abandoned softcore rotten economy and now play HC only, on HC for botters much harder to prepare party setups and they die time to time, and percentage of actual party players are higher so its just more fair environment |

I saw someone talking about party play with a "rarity bot" is fun, different and etc, I mean sure but the thing is they need to fix group play in PoE2 at the basic level, it's not fun for some reasons, it was a lot of fun in Diablo 2 and PoE1 and I think the main reason is colision, they need to remove it before 1.0.

FYI the current patch notes do not reflect the passive tree json that was just released for "The Craving Slaughter" notable:
Patch Notes: The Craving Slaughter Notable Passive Skill now provides "+15 maximum Rage if you've used a Skill that Requires Glory in the past 20 seconds" (previously +8 per Skill that Requires Glory used in the past 6 seconds, up to 5 times) json: "+6 maximum Rage if you've used a Skill that Requires Glory in the past 20 seconds" This went from an Amazing node, to an OK one, to basically worthless as the 3 nodes prior don't justify the opportunity cost. Can you clarify which information you provided is accurate? |
