Skipping acts only makes sense if you're given lvl 65 and a bag of resources for free. Otherwise, having to start from level 1, what does it matter where you do it? Treat acts like free maps with occasional quest marker.
GGG would never allow low-level areas to yield strong loot (be it acts or maps), keeping players at the fringe of starvation and annoyance is the Vision.

its not good idea imo but GGG somehow should find a solution of what if skip campaign scenrio. I think it should not be something like instant lvl 65 etc. anything free is always bad imo. but something else, as personally iam not a game designer, what i offer might not serve the purpose but re doing campaign for alt characters is preventing me to make alt characters while i want to try difrent class/asendencys/builds etc.
even with full twink items it only feels like a torture esp. after 3. alt character

The current campaign is simply too long for a seasonal game.
Alternative method of leveling is required that simply more streamlined, not gated by story blocks, zones with less forking and backtracking. Just nothing but action for 5-6 hours at best before the endgame.
Or for example start on infinite atlas as level 1 and just complete maps until you hit level 65 and all the on-map endgame mechanics (ritual, breach, abyss) gonna be unlocked to interact as usual with Tier 1-15 waystone.
Maybe yeah ultimately it's about having less friction but at the end of the day there should be a choice. POE2 wants to be more newbie friendly game or just have better onboarding in general. (but 0.1 already have filtered so many of them)

Loot can be easily adjusted. (Well you can engage trade in act 1 anyway xDDDD)

we both dont lose or dont gain anything.
