Skip Acts function for the second and subsequent characters in the league

Why would the skip need to be available on day one of a league?

Just because someone speedran the campaign once? If yes, then why exactly is that a bad thing?

If campaign skip gives an advantage in a fresh league, fine, keep leagues competitive and don't offer it there.

But that still doesn't explain why Standard should not have campaign skip or an alternative leveling route.

And please don't reply with "I don't care about Standard". That is not an argument. If the issue is league economy or league competition, then Standard is the obvious place for it.

The main issue is still the same. Once you have gone through the campaign, it has very little replay value. It is the same story, the same quests, the same routes, and the same NPC errands.

Yes, a different character or build changes some of the combat. But the campaign itself does not change.

If there were alternative routes, different questlines, meaningful choices, or some kind of real variation, then sure, I would be more willing to play it again. That would at least be replay value.

Right now, I am not interested in wasting my time on a gatekept "experience" that I have already experienced.

I am pointing at the trolls, idiots and toxic people who keep ignoring that we are NOT asking for fast leveling, free items, free levels or anything like that.

We just want an alternative to the campaign after the first completion.

I disagree with skipping the story. Playing a different class offers a unique experience, just as clearing content for the first time (progression) feels different from farming on an established character. I’m all for adding convenience features like one-click dialogue skips, but actually skipping the story itself? That’s something you wouldn't even see in the poe1.

iF you want 2 and 3rd char in 1 click and in 1 minute ready to be 65lvl and mapping

to be used for different tasks

all for reason of speeding up start and avantage over others at league start

only differnce between fast leveling is smaller scale and semanthics.



If it can be made that you can get there by doing something else, not repeating campaign but spending similar amount of time on something else not giving leg up in endgame process, similar loot drop to campaign, no issue.

Standard, SSF again no issue either as there is no leg up on others.

i want bigger and hardar campaign too, its %100 fine, but i do not want to re do it. but iam sure you wont get that :)

i wish the same but finding some alternative for redoing campaign on equal conditions, wont hurt %99.9 people. as i told before, we do NOT want free/faster of ANTYHING

Yes the game is kinda to heavy reliant on Trade. However there is no point to sweat about the economy too much. Some 6-man party is already in T15 maps and you didn't even start the league yet. You already behind. You just cutting your own fun from the league. On other hand inflation is a natural thing in poe. No matter how balanced the playground is, inflation will ate everything up day by day.
0.4 was a big inflation league, yet everyone of us felt rich. Everything vomiting divines here and there. For example I've bought like 300 divines Wand this league which I could never afford in previous leagues. And other stuff like expensive jewels.

So yeah the economy is barely the argument if you do everything just right.

The current campaign have zero staying power in the long term. This debate is 1.5 years old already and still never vanished. What did you expect after 1.0? The amount of ppl who will ask to skip this campaign will only rise and some of them might even quit the game before they even reach the endgame. A potential customers who might buy your MTXs in the future.

Don't want to implement a skip or alternative leveling method? Fine then this campaign should be at maximum 5 hours long without speedrunning. Otherwise this debate will stay.
