Tired of patches that are destroying the fun of the game

Why is everybody going into extreme scenarios? Nobody said that from now on only buffs for everything. Can you imagine that they will put ALL the skill gems on the same power level? There would be no meta this and non-meta that. Can you imagine that you would not have to read patch notes if they nerfed to the ground melee builds again or if they nerfed minion builds to the point that it would require from player to spend insane amount of divines on crafting or straight mirror trading in order for Animate Guardian to be used again in high level juiced maps? Can you imagine having a freedom to ACTUALLY choose the build and skill gem without worring if you have enough time to afford 100+ mirror worth of items to get that build up and running? No you cannot imagine that and thats why you and others post comments like that because you and others play only this game and dont know what a good balance in game looks like.

I've told you this before; you have a completely skewed impression of what it takes to make a build "successful". I could say it again and give you the same examples I've given before, but it clearly evaporates before being decoded.

In a game with so many different multipliers, increases, moving parts, items, mechanics and ways to scale, balancing every single skill in the game to be "on par" with one another, is impossible. I'm also sure - when it comes to manpower - balancing every single skill every single league is also impossible.

Leagues and changes are what drive this game forward - and why it is still "relevant" today.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Quess what if they made something and now they cannot balance it. They failed. And now people like you cover for them for saying "ohhh it takes a manpower to do this and that" I dont care what it takes. You are being parasocial and feeling bad for these guys meanwhile you and me are just consumers that want a good product/service if they dont deliver good product / service they have failed. Stop being parasocial and feel bad because it takes a lot of resources and "manpower" to do balancing in this game.

And you speak as if there have been no improvements to the game. Why wouldn't you quit after "a few patches that destroyed the fun of the game"? What's the point of this tirade?

He already quit as he claims, but he still wants to stirr the pot some more.

He's not over it yet lol.

I have quit. This post is written by a person that unlike a lot of those fanatics are just pointing out only the good bits of the game and giving this game 10/10 I have pointed out something that GGG is failing to achieve for years and that is balancing in this game. I know that they have made improvements to certain things and a lot of Quality of Life stuff was added but the balance in this game is awful. I know that it is much easier to listen to those "yes men" and saying how amazing everything is and how flawless this game is than listening to somebody that is pointing out the negative bits of this game.
If you don't play the game, how do you even know what you are criticizing? Why would anyone take you seriously? As for balance, we shouldn't think of it as a binary state.

What I agree with is that ggg is too harsh with a lot of the nerfs. Prime example is dd, it wasn't just nerfed, it was completely nuked (but I don't mind).

Optimizing this game is undoubtedly an NP-hard problem. Years of having access to ridiculously overpowered low effort mapping strategies - no major complaints. Now that gets taken away and you're having a hissyfit, game bad, waaawaaa. [Replace above example with a nerf of your choice]

We are at least getting changes to this game, whether for "better" or for "worse". Criticism is important, but it should be firstly informed and secondly void of these unnecessary extremities.

I also get that binary world views are computationally easier to handle, but that doesn't imply they reflect reality.

You asked why would anybody take me seriously? Because I have been playing this game since the beginning before there were any endgame maps before 10 acts etc... Me quiting this game like a month ago does not mean that I know nothing about the game. There is a lot good things with this game but I have pointed out the balance problem. You dont like pointing out one bad thing I dont care I will still pointed out.
I know people who have been playing this game since the start who have never made their own build or experienced real endgame content. Having been around for a while gives little weight to your argument and it's a cheap appeal to authority argument as I can demonstrate by perusing your profile:

On a quick glance in your illustruous 10 year time of playing this game
You haven't defeated Atziri
You haven't defeated the Maven
You haven't socketed 4 Voidstones in your Atlas

The last time you played a temporary league was Settlers which, despite its long runtime, you finished with 14 challenges complete. Before that, you finished Affliction with 13 challenges. Before that? Expedition with 7 challenges.

You are blowing your experience way out of proportion. Some people finish that many challenges in one sitting, and they talk smaller game. While I can sympathise with some of your grievances, given your non-existing level of engagement, may I call into question why you think anyone should listen to you?

On the contrary, I would like specific examples instead of arguing endlessly in the abstract. There are things that I also don't like about the league, does that necessitate making a rant post that achieves close to nothing? [as an alternative to making a list of suggestions in the suggestions area]
