somebody did a much bigger sample size test in 0.1 and found that 70-80% was the most effective, they only measured currency...
Like what is a "much bigger sample size" in this context? In order to claim that "70-80% is most effective"
he found that it was, when he did it and only tracked currency. I don't recall the exact sample, but I know it was bigger than the test kripparian pointed to.
which is my point, if you cared to read, my point was not that definitively that is what is best. I am saying neither test are things to point to for any group to have such a visceral reaction to such a basic ARPG mechanism.

The game ist currently in Beta state and we're more or less "Beta tester".
They should listen to every single person who give constructive feedback in first place.
Why shouldn't they listen to people who already have 100ts or even 1000s of hours in the game, as long as theyr feedback is constructive?
Why should they listen to you here with maybe 100 hours in the game, no constructive feedback in the whole thread and just ranting about the "evil streamers"? ;)
You didn't even point out why exactly they shouldn't listen to them.
Shouldn't they listen to theyr bug reports?
Shouldn't they listen to theyr balance reports?
Shouldn't they listen to theyr QOL reports?
Shouldn't they listen to theyr endgame feedback reports?
Shouldn't they listen to theyr campaign reports.
Shouldn't they listen to theyr map/interface/skill design reports?
On which of these points do they should not listen to them in your oppinion?...in all of them?
Are YOU gonna test every single Spectre in the game f.e. as some Streamer do and report GGG buggy & bad interactions?
Are you gonna test every single Skill + Passive combination as they do and report GGG the broken & underwhelming ones?
Just 2 examples of 1000s that those Stramer test every day....are YOU gonna test all interactions in the game if GGG is not allowed to listen to Streamers in your oppinion?
Why exactly should they listen to YOU who only complains here in the forum about a certain playerbase and offer no game related feedback instead of listening to people who play the game 12+ hours per day, test every single interaction the game has to offer and give constructive feedback frequently?
I have over 2k hours logged and played since day 1. If I stopped playing because 1 single update made the game no longer enjoyable, there's a problem on GGGs end.
The game is NOT in beta.
Most streamers and most people AREN'T giving constructive feedback.
They should only be listening to people who have at least 100 hours into the game because otherwise they wouldn't have any real idea what they're talking about (now go filter recent Steam reviews and look at how the negative ones are players with 100s of hours)
Obviously they should work on the state of the game's performance, literally not one person has said otherwise.
Streamers don't do thousands of tests every day, there's not even thousands of tests that can be done on this game.
Obviously some skills are going to out perform others because math.
It's funny because Raxx just released a video and they're all constructive criticisms

You can disagree with what he says, but saying that someone can't express their opinion just because they stream the game is so weird
I'm so glad a big streamer finally talked about delirium fog. Been saying this since day 1 and it never got any attention. Maybe now it will

I haven't seen that video, but Raxx is the most sensible PoE2 streamer I've seen. His positions are clear, and he's good at explaining concepts to new players. I've never seen him create drama about the game. (I've only watched some videos, never seen him stream.)
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

Removing rarity from gear is perfectly fine with me. But removing this mechanism from the game as a whole is not a good idea.
Krip and DM both suggested the removal of rarity from gear during season 1. The magic find playstyle allows botters to farm an insane amount of currency, and few builds do this really really really well; don't be surprised when those builds become the meta.
If GGG do not want to remove them from gear, then having a 50-100 soft cap is a lot better than 150%.
That said, I would also vote for having rarity not impact any currency drops. GGG never officially talked about this in the open and they have never treated the topic of market tanking seriously.
Look at how an average player's ex pickup becomes absolutely worthless in less than 2 months after the new season. You need to pick up 700 ex in order to change to a div today. If you don't go insane magic find, your chance of dropping div is maybe 1 in 3 days or 1 in 2 days at best, assuming you farm like nuts.

Yep, he's nice. I think I agree with the whole video, except the feedback from his chat at the end about exp penalty

Do you even know why you want currency to drop or why other people want currency to drop? Do you know what restricting the currency would mean to you or the game itself?

The entire premise of this thread.
Im honestly surprised its even allowed to be up.
Moderation would be all over a post if the title stated something similar
"Please.... Stop listening to people on the forums"
I dont want to tell them how to do their job, but this thread really does put a lot of question marks out there in terms of consistency.
Not just that but its antagonizing just by saying that.
Mash the clean

If you think it's the premise to the thread than read again and stop making assumptions.

Please show me a video where kripp is saying that.
I hope you are not trying to ruin is excellent reputation. Because this would be a forever stain for me if this happens to be true.
I just hope you are lying.
