Please.... Stop listening to streamers.
They literally make money by finding something to complain about. No matter how much you cater to them they will complain about something else. Every time a handful of streamers piggy back whatever current thing they want to complain about their Twitch adjacent subscribers come to you the next day and mass complain about 'current thing'.

Sounds great! But it's much easier said than done.
I think the devs try not to take user feedback at face value and figure out what the real pain points are... b u t . . . Yeah. Between all the people comparing their results to the results of others w/o putting in the same effort, all the FOMO, Gambling, Dopamine Junkies, and Lemmings. It's hard to filter out the noise.
Spoiler
Like so many people's pain points are literally just all in their head/perception/perspective. It's not the reality of the situation.
Spoiler
They. Just. DON'T. CARE.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.

+1
the stance they're taking on IIR is insane the 150 soft cap is a bit high, sure (maybe 100 is better here) but calling for complete removal is just bad. multi-facet'd decisions is what makes this game any fun - removing decisions is just terrible. /edit also any reduction in the 150 soft cap should be applied to party play scaling as well - the fact 6-mans get so many more items for teaming together is just bananas. imo the complaint here is that "everything is worthless" so fast in this game in it's current state -> the 6-mans (aka streamers) just want to hoard and keep prices up. Once they find enough currency, they will sell all their failed crafts to solo players or people that play with a friend or two every once in awhile. " Wait, streamers are asking for the cap to be removed or for IIR as a mechanic to be removed? |

" the cap is only on gear, they are asking for IIR on gear to be removed |

" Please tell me which streamer said this. This is some serious threat to the game if GGG caves to this. Does it come from big names? |

" That's the latest uproar yes, before it was "just remove towers" and that's what got us here etc etc. If you pay attention everytime a streamer group gets some hot take video ideas the social medias and forums are flooded with all the subscribers complaining about the same thing like a bunch off lemings. It's almost like brigading but probably not intentional. |

" I never watch streamers. Please tell me which streamer said that. Are they big names? This matter is quite important for me on the future of this game. I know GGG caves to streamers so if that's what they are asking for and GGG caves, I will be extremely mad to put it mildly. |

I honestly couldn't tell you the names because I only watch a streamer when there's Twitch drops from GGG and it's on mute the whole time. However I do have POE2 videos on my YT feed all the time and it never fails there's several videos from different channels about the exact same topic. This latest one is all along the lines of "Is IIR bad?" "Remove IIR" "IIR ruining currency" etc.
There was a video I watched a few days ago from someone I don't know or remember doing the research in game as to what the ideal rare find amount for gear was and he concluded it was 150% which makes sense based on other interviews where Jonathan himself effectively said that there was steep diminishing return at around 200%. |

" Yes and it was covered by the legendary and respectable Kripparian. Not a single time he asked for IIR on gear to be deleted. He said that rarity on gear is cringe because map juicing dont affect areas like abysses and only rarity on gear. Same for pinnacles He's just saying that the way its implemented is cringe and should be changed not removed. |
