Petition to abandon T17

POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

" The issue is player expectations are what defines optional content not the designers. The general PoE populace considers Ubers as the bosses now and the previous are just a waste of time and they consider T17 the juice destination because they award massively more loot than the regular modifier pooled maps. I still consider Ubers optional, but I know full well i'm in the minority. I do think 16.5 was a step in the right direction but fundamentally they are a halfway house, you get more loot but still less than 17 again due to the mod pool being less valuable. As a result the SC powerhouse players who basically have no challenge left in the game will automatically view 17 as mandatory because to them it is. Whereas if you are still challenged by the content 16.5 is pretty good. |
