WTF is wrong with r/POE r/POE2 subreddits?

there is nothing wrong with bluesky or reddit, something tells me, the people complaining about those websites are xtwitterfanboys

and the only reason they complain is because they are unable to free speech on those websites (which actually means hate speech/racism/bigotry and sexism.)

as 99% of the people that complain about reddit do so because they cant harass or stalk people they hate on their... (because they are dealt with accordingly and immediately.)

wheras twitter/facebook encourages all that hateful crap..

also nothing is worse than official game forums.

both the d4 forums and this one and last epochs official game forum are all far worse than reddit.... there is a reason why the devs usually post on reddit before anywhere else.... because its the most popular

Reddit just deletes and bans everyone that is not in their line of vision
If you talk about hate speech - it's free speech as well

If you can't take a few words that for some reason make you uncomfortable, well, that's a you problem

Sometimes people understand faster and better when you phrase it intolerantly and little bit on the rude side than rainbows and sunshine

if this would be true then school or any type of training would be much more entertaining... sadly its not the case.
This forum is also an echo chamber. The difference is that here people refuse to acknowledge it.

Also, not all subreddits are bad, just the ones that let the egotistical and self-centered to moderate it.

it sure is, esp for negative threads. the amount of engagement those get when compared t anything even remotely positive is a bit concerning. so in a way its like an inverse of reddit from what i read itt? good if you want your arguments challenged, not so good if you having a good day and want to share some nice thoughts about the game lol

I mean, if you had people constantly post their mirror findings, how to slam an exalt crafting help or how to get out of mud flats in this forum, you'd also be ignoring them here.

And seriously, this is much more positive than the forum equivalent of explaining why this difference sucks only to get a "That means you just want free loot and you know i'm right" response.

Indeed, it is a censorious dystopia over there. The mods are a bunch of 1984 wannabes.

If you are critical, or even display a modicum of dissent, you will be removed.

The crusade continues...

Reddit being Reddit. But I think POE (1 & 2) subs are slightly more gatekeeping then other games of negativity and criticism.

Some other game subs, you are allowed to be more "expressive" in criticism of game & the dev.

One of the mod at POE2 subreddit looked through my post history and banned me for 2 weeks because my last 3 posts was "negative".

He said I "attacked" the dev, I simply said alot of issues not addressed in PoE2 was that the dev was high from all the praises and ignore the critical ones. The other 2 was even more tamed, like game need more time in oven, loot was bad or the likes.

Same lol.
They really are trying to control the negativity which I guess is commendable but it's at the cost of severely skewering the perception of the reception which I'm sure is not something ggg wants. Devs don't like to be caught off-guard.
In the end they might be hurting the game more than anything with those super liberal bans.

Well the PoE and PoE 2 subreddits are ran by the same people. Even found out they moderate the official PoE Discord. Can't say anything bad about PoE 2, and if you get banned there you are also banned in PoE subreddit, after people asked for them to be separated.
