There are a couple few subreddits run by reasonable people (shoutout to /stellaris), but as a whole the site is a hivemind cesspool of failures pushing failed ideologies who conflate censoring facts with disproving them. these people cant even figure out gender, something even squirrels can do, then turn around and presume to 'educate' people on morality. and it is a tragedy, because reddit used to be a bastion of free speech. it was the best place on the internet. but it has been utterly hijacked by the most deplorable people on the internet, and in society in general. The general cutoff point between "good subreddit with reasonable moderation" and "an absolute cesspit full of censorship" seems to be somewhere like 500k subscribers. Once a subreddit gets into the mainstream, leftist ideologues start policing thoughts, get on the modteam, and enforce rampant censorship measures.
