WTF is wrong with r/POE r/POE2 subreddits?

I had to use an alt account just to check it out, because I thought I was shadow banned or something, but no, mods for some reason inserted ridiculous filters, that you cannot even ask for help of any kind. You cannot post anything about state of the game, you cannot ask any technical issues that may help certain people understand if it's a client side or server side problem.

Some people use these subreddits, to get quicker answers compared to here.

Perhaps I've been shadow banned on my alt account too, despite never touching those subreddits and never getting an actual ban? *shrugs*

Your problem is that you're using reddit.

It's quite literally the very worst social media site on the internet.

And yes, that's even taking into account that bluesky exists.

Being a reddit mod is pure power tripping, nothing else. You go in with good intentions but slowly cultivate posters that mirror your opinion, over time people who disagree not just with opinions but even how the topic should be addressed are banned.

This promotes group think, then meta-level "how should we even approach issues" group think, then meta-meta-level "what are people like, they must all think like me" group think. Then anyone who doesnt agree 100% with you is absolute evil.

Thats just how reddit works.

And Im not even noting the fact that some reddit mods have been engaged in RMT in the games where they mod the forums.

Reddit is the antithesis of having varied opinions, open mind, seeing things you don't agree with.

Still useful for woodworking, gardening and coding though.

Isn't the PoE Reddit in particular an echo chamber where you can't say anything bad about the game?

I once got perma banned from the Fallout: New Vegas sub for lamenting the fact that Liberty Prime wasn't in it.

Sometimes google sends me to a reddit thread about sth, i don't actually have a reddit account, usually not on there, but inform an uninformed boomer: Wasn't reddit the place where they talk bad about poe all the time and create scandals like omg 3.15 expedition or omg 3.2 kalandra, archnemisis and loot nerfed so bad mimimi??? How is this an echo chamber where you can't say anything bad about a game?

Edit: Not questioning mods on a power trip with only one moment of self esteem in their life: WHen they ban someone, lmao.

It's very strange. The filter deletes 100% of my attempted posts. E.g. Secrets of the Atlas had server issues and reddit was a good place to ask, nope. Deleted. The funny side of this is; I see shitposts all the time being upvoted.

I literally just got a 7 day ban for this exact quote.
