Furthermore, this argument is meaningless because no matter how it looked in 2019, it was marketed as a PoE1 expansion. So it being similar or not is not important, the fact that it's not PoE1 anymore - is.

I only explained to you that your argument "Look, even in 2019 the gameplay looked different to PoE1, and more like PoE2 today" is not valid in a conversation about them marketing something, and doing something else.
