Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

Nice almost everything ignored or even didn't understand....

The areas are not to big because any of your reasons, they are just to big and not fun.
The game is not to slow because we are stupid it's because it's just to slow.
It feels like a endless chewing gum and not fluent at all.

We have almost no loot !
We have almost no progression feeling.

You feel weak, slow and you go never to hero.

A success format in youtube poe1 is zero to hero...

The fun comed from progression and getting mighty after lots
of hours.

Sorry but Jonathan wants something that almost nobody wants from
the playes:

Endless chewing gum ruthless sleepy game

I’m sorry? But you guys have no idea what you’re doing. This post doesn’t even address half of players concerns about the current direction the game is going. The game feels so slow and so punishing and so honestly just boring.

Why am I getting one shot by enemies in fucking clear fell? The comments about area size feel dismissive - especially when many had this complaint during the 0.1.0 release.

I get that the feedback you’re getting is generally that players don’t really like the design direction you’re going with, and that that feedback is hard to stomach. This post feels incredibly out of touch. Please address more player concerns, I mean this doesn’t even touch on the shitty shitty support gems, the lack of build variety, endgame content, warrior balance, etc. etc. etc.

appreciate your work!

anyway, poe2 is pretty boring -> 3.26 when?

(edit:
with boring i mean the endgame,
endless atlas bad,
"ruthless extreme" bad
combos bad
too many rng layers bad
campaign good)

so this is just ruthless. why poe2 then?

Area size isn't a matter of damage. It's about unique encounters, unique geography, total foot travel...

Most maps, you see the same combination of enemies 10 times over before reaching the end. And this isn't a classic dungeon crawler—resource management throughout the dungeon isn't a factor, so encounters are largely isolated, except when aggravating multiple mobs. So if I see the same pack of enemies for the 10th time, I'm gonna get testy! I already beat them, nothing about my character has changed, the environment I'm fighting in them is functionally unchanged... It gets tedious! Like, how many times do I gotta fight some spiders around a big pillar in the Act 2 caves? At what point am I expected to feel differently about it? The environments do not assert themselves in enough variation to convince me otherwise.

Not only that, but you frequently backtrack through long stretches of dead halls without anything occurring... I can only think of one map with patrols to spice that up. You must be experiencing the frequent, boring backtracking, unless you're on a build of the game we've never played.

I'm enjoying the game, but the maps are definitely too big. Imagine if you put maps like this into a proper action game—it'd be the first major complaint. Even running at twitchy ARPG speeds, it plods.

Also, I hope the damage for Huntress combos is better tuned. The payoff for 4-step combos isn't that good. Like, you can slap a skill gem on Rake and do similar, easier damage.

I also hope you apply "parried" status to nearby enemies, not just the one parried. Having to target EXACTLY one tiny monster out of a surrounding 8 with Disengage (or similar actions) and whiffing? Feels terrible.

this is really amazing btw. playing huntress with bleed disengage and blood hunt. when bosses have 50% blood loss of their hp i use blood hunt and boom they are deleted. on top i'm using a companion that does lightning storm for faster clear and the shock effect. this is really well done of a class fantasy. i'm loving this patch!. Also Please nerf any build that is a one bottom!!! its boring asf if your only using one key to kill everything. also if the one key to press builds have higher clear speeds than everyone will swap to it specially those who are on trade league... pls dont revert the changes also nerf minions wtf trash being stronger than their master? their trash... those who complain about the game being hard. its really not that hard also now you have a chance to learn the game even better!.

another buying time league? no thanks =))
Okay well if this is the response we get to the trash tier 0.2.0 update then I'm just uninstalling and never looking back. This game HATES anyone that plays it and it shows. GG with their heads still buried in the sand. Imagine.
