Apocalypse has come to all the build genius players. At last balance restored!

I like how they delete all zoom zoom builds from the game and reduce number of currency overall

Inferno dog dead
MOM dead
ES ~ dead
Life also still dead lul

HC players = smith meta :D
Price fire res + chaos res life + str pieces of gear will be incredible)
This is a great direction for the game - the brain off zoom zoom one shot 15 screens and all content in the game is boring after 1 day. and we already have it in PoE1 for the people who do enjoy it.

Went to bed last night whining and angry about this and woke up this morning with the epiphany that the nerfs are not just to break builds and upset us.. there are 100 new support gems Im sure they also adj things for....have new posituve outlook on this. Gaming community likes to make huge statements that devs have no clue... I think they are more passionate about this franchise than given credit sometimes.

All the people here saying variations of "Great patch! These nerfs were needed to allow build diversity and not allow just 2-3 really strong builds to dominate" are in for a rude awakening.

I give it 1 week, MAYBE 2, before content creators upload videos of "Play this build to destroy all content with ease".

And we'll be right back where we started.

Except with a LOT fewer players because the casuals that were relying on easier builds so they could be successful didn't come back.

And even fewer players joins along the way because word of mouth on how this game is handled will kill their desire to even try it.

To be clear, some things needed a nerf.

But EVERY SINGLE THING got a nerf.

Damage got nerfs.

Defenses got nerfs.

Utility got nerfs.

I have 3 builds all level 85+ and when I listened to Raxx talk about the nerfs I realized that literally every skill aspect and skill those builds used were nerfed into the ground.

rly that hudge amount of nerfs to playable acendancies, adn breaches so now we have no loot, and no dmg/speed cool story
I wont even talk about the nerfs but... You know you can make the combat more engaging without slowing it all dawn to a crawl?

Hell, make even white mobs have faster and stronger (but telegraphed) attacks but give players more defensive options. Stacking movement speed on each possible gear slot and fat-rolling isn't a defensive option.

You can always add more movement options with dashes, dodges, even skill cancels. Game can still be fast with engaging combat. With the current trend you'll really make it a turn based game...
