Patch looks nice.
It will never not be funny to watch all the standard andies complain that their build got nerfed.
I think everyone who's so angry about this patch has forgotten this game is Early Access.

If you look at it from the developers POV, they had to nerf everything. They are releasing a massive pool of new gems for us to test.

Do you honestly think they would let you make another archmage? I'll bet 90% of all people who played this watched a YouTube video on how to build it.

We already know it works, go figure out something else, have fun with it.
This type of challenge seems to have been lost in mmos.
Go play diablo 4 if you want that kind of gameplay.

Overall nothing actually gamebreaking has been changed other than heralds not chaining off each other which is to be expected.

I'm looking forward to playing and testing the Lich and seeing what people come up with. Should be interesting.

I am sure they have the resources to add skill effect duration efficacy to Time Freeze. like only 10-30% of added SE-duration is applied

Hey everyone,

The patch notes hit hard, nerfing around 90% of the current meta. But honestly? It’s not all bad.

Before the changes, I was running builds like BM Tempo/Blink (pushing +100M DPS) and an IIR +900% buffer. Was that fair to casual players? Probably not.

That said, some nerfs feel misplaced—Archmage especially. It wasn’t dominating like Ingenuity (which rightfully got axed as the linchpin of OP builds). Archmage didn’t need the hammer, and the rarity/mana mods nerfs were overkill. Between the shield/chest adjustments and Ingenuity’s gutting, the biggest outliers were already handled.


PS: The game’s supposed to be different from PoE1… yet here we are, still cry for "two buttons, one screen delete."[/span]

Absolutely incredible patch! Massive changes!
Poe veteran! Have been here sense November 2010.
