Yes, nerf are ok. But balancing is not only nerfing everything to the level where everything is unplayable.

How any of this change will make, for example warrior more enjoyable to play?
Maybe this one: "The on-kill effects of Herald skills can no longer trigger from kills caused by Herald skills." Oh wait this one IMO kills most of warrior (mace) skills.

So basically, everything is nerfed to oblivion.

Lat's say you want to play Manastacking Spark Stormweaver:
1. Spark skill is now destroyed,
2. Stormweaver ascendancy ruined,
3. Archmage completely destroyed,
4. Dream Fragments Ring nerfed to 10% max mana instead of 20%,
5. All max mana nodes from Passive Tree nodes, ascendancy small nodes, Jewels, Time-Lost Jewels, Uniques, etc. were heavily nerfed,
6. Eldrich Battery which enables you to play a manastacking build, has been nerfed to oblivion (doubles mana cost of skills, when mana is your only eHP)
7. In case you wanted to use Everlasting Gaze amulet to have ES also, it was utterly destroyed too,
8. Lightning exposure nerfed,
9. Conductivity curse nerfed,
10. Curse activation time nerfed,
11. Let's not forget about the biggest nerf to all players, double chance to be affected by elemental aliments,
12. Want to convert lightning damage to cold, freeze needs 48% more build-up than before,
13. Cast on Shock procs only half as before,
14. You cannot use 2 Blinks, because now they share cooldown (I totally support this nerf),
15. "12 jewel sockets were removed from the passive tree" (I think is good for the game, but still a nerf to most builds).

The only things that were not nerfed for this former build, were the support gems.

It was one of the best build previously, but nerfing Archmage (which was OP), a small nerf to Spark and nerfing Dream Fragments would've been more than enough to cripple the build, while still being playable, instead of killing it completely.

On top of this they nerfed my favourite encounter, Breach, pretty heavy too.

And this was just an example, at least 15 good builds have been completely destroyed and not only them but also at least 50 ideas of meme builds are no longer doable now, with these changes.

I guess Phys damage Warrior is a real option now, since it was the only one just slightly nerfed overall.


This. A 1000% this. Just a travesty, the patch notes are basically "We haven't fixed any problems with the things that didn't work, we just killed what worked before". Very sad :((

This is not true, they always counted as two-handed. They benefitted from the nodes that increased two-handed damage. The added damage values now will use two-handed values instead of one-handed. Different thing.

We all seen it coming

A lot of build, spell/item interractions were to strong and easy to use

So it is definitely not a suprise

But still, there is one thing i really don't understand...

Grenades with 3s cooldown were already kinda unplayable do to the impossibility to resist and not get totally swarmed by mobs

The overall DPS and Timetokill was way to low and slow, making the map clearing and boss killing in endgame almost impossible and not enjoyable

So ok i get that you partialy fixed that by changing the crossbow values but... 7s cooldown on nades ? While 3s were already complicated... 4 more ?

Meaning 4 more seconds to die while waiting for your skill to be usable ???

Thoses skills will just not even be an option anymore
