Maximum Life Nodes

I don't know wtf they want out of us, but Armor absolutely needs help because if they intend for us to have to have best tier life mods AND strength mods on every piece of gear to increase our life to barely acceptable levels, then Armor needs to be buffed by 50-100% effectiveness and there need to be nodes that allow some ele and chaos damage to be reduced by armor. It's bad enough that there is effectively no sustain whatsoever on passive for non-ES (actual life regen nodes barely exist and are pitiful, literally zero flat leech) so I don't understand what their deal is. ANY bonus damage mods on map and I just fucking melt, nearly 10k base armor and 3k health and for the life of me can't get any more and tier 12 maps are risky as fuck.

That's a skill issue tbh you're not getting attacked 19 times during your attack animation unless you're trying to clear rituals with sunder.


Yes, using sunder is skill issue because you would have to be stupid to not clear with stampede or auto attack.

Leech is bad. If you dont explode the whole screen thats a skill issue. Imagine thinking leech is skill. Imagine actually having monsters on the screen.
I'm playing 100% warrior and 100% on hardcore. the maximum life i could get by lvl 90 is like 5.5k with Kaom's heart.

Still get one shot by Arbiter with 85% fire resistance.

I saw a video last night, a guy with 20K ES fighting Arbiter, he was litterally TRYING to get killed by something that one shoted me. He barely succed to die. That show how life is not balanced yet compare to ES.

How to address this ?

I feel like giving more life per strengh is not a bad idea but not the best, its kinda easy to get a boost for everyone. What they need to do is to put some life cluster nodes and notable passive that give + % more maximum life in strategic area around the skill tree. Its easy, its simple, and its not FREE. Player would have to invest points to get them. Here's a quick example of a life cluster ;

+3% more maximum life
+3% more maximum life
+3% more maximum life
+5% more maximum life

Put that type of cluster at 4-5 strategic place in skill tree.

Simple, easy. And not FREE.
They should add Life-Nodes, but they should be more or less limited to the bottom left area of the tree, where the characters with highest melee potential are. Armor is just not good enough and melee is in a bad spot until you can at least tank 2-3 hits.
