Maximum Life Nodes

Could it be a possibility to get more Increase % maximum life or similar nodes in the passive tree?

I find it very strange that we dont have more of those nodes, atm only viable options is Shield, Shield and umm Shield? ohh and damage on mana ofc.


Currently it exist following nodes for increasing max Life.

Unbending : 3% increased max life
Eldritch Will : 3% increased max life
Infused Flesh: +20 max hp

Not sure for ascentions, but there is two 3% life in Blood mage & Crimson power to gain increase max hp by the same amount as your body armors ES value.

They clearly said in an interview that their vision is that life comes from gear, not the tree. Otherwise everyone's tree is identical because it tries to optimise the path for grabbing as many life nodes as possible.
They need to remove ES nodes from the tree as well.
Few things would kill the tree quicker then suddenly needing to spend 45 points pathing to all the life nodes in whatever quadrant you're in. That's a big hell no from me.
The problem is moved to ES nodes. You now need to hunt ES nodes for survival instead of life. For a game that supposed to give you options for your builds, heavily limit you to shield because you cannot gain more health and play with health.

They need more nodes for life And find a balance of whats working. Another work around would be buffing the health nodes or health from gear

Why the hell would you NEED to spend 45 points for health nodes if you dont gonna use health for you build? I mean you most likely have built shield or something like that now just because there isnt any other options.

Currently you cant use life as your build and thats really weird. Esp since you have blood mage ascention, you have the passive node and aswell a few uniques to change skills for health cost.

Agreed. The tree is inconsistent now. Why doesn't armour simply have more base ES?
They need to either put health on the tree, or significantly increase health on gear. Right now, health simply doesn't scale.
I don't mind that they have less life nodes, but we do need some. Titan has a "more life" node, but we have no increased to go with it, which makes jo sense. Maybe adding increased life to jewels could be okay, or have somewhere in the ballpark of having 20% increased life throughout the str portion of the tree would be good without breaking balance.

Or they could put more resists/max resists on the lower left of the tree to help with ele damage since they don't want to change armor. With block and evasion being changed fundamentally armor is really behind
