POE2 must really be in rough shape...

"
I really don't think you know what it means 'to be in rough shape' the game is holding a playerbase on steam alone of roughly 400-600k (counting timezones), which puts it in a very good spot. While the loud few complain about the game 'being so terrible' and the devs being 'arrogant/bad' or whatever, the silent majority is enjoying the game.

Numbers mean nothing when it's only 10 days after launch and the game is that heavily present on Twitch. I think we'll only see the real numbers when PoE 1 league launches (maybe even later)

POE2 is not a game that respects your time, that is for sure

Neither does PoE1, go to TFT and check how many Bozos getting carried every single league to acquire their 3rd and 4th voidstone because they are unable to do it or farm for it. And we are talking trade league here, what is already the absolute bozo mode.

lmao. d2 rushing existed for over 20 years. being carried on a game existed even longer than that, with a wide variety of other games.

it's almost like people don't want to play through the campaign for the 49281035th time, and just want to try out a new build? the horror. even more of a shocker incoming: with items they previously found or traded for!

even if it's for boss killing or a certain mechanic to get past. it's an online aRPG, players should have every right to help others if they want to.

So who here is the bozo again ?
Cry some more about it .

So we'll only see the *real* numbers in six months? I'm happy to reserve judgement for a month, but put very simply, once again, the silent majority are enjoying the game, while a very small minority complain about it loudly. More players buying gear in PoE 1 is hardly indicative of any sort of trend and is at best, a spurious correlation to 'PoE 2 performing badly'
People with little understanding about statistics talk about statistics and attempt to seize sovereignty over interpretation. It's not a unique phenomenon, but it is an unfortunate one.
Looking at some design choices and some boss fights really makes me want to try that good stuff that devs were smoking while making this game.
POE2 is much more enjoyable than POE1.
And it will get only better.
POE2 is absolutely incredible and just wanted to voice my support of everything in the game, I agree that the silent majority must love this game as much as me since the concurrent players remains at hundreds of thousands on the steam charts.

If it were truly so unplayable and in "rough shape" I would have expected the game to be "mostly negative" on Steam and the players falling off instantly.

But what I truly don't understand is the number of forum posts that exist only to harm, as opposed to providing actual constructive feedback. You rock devs, you matter, keep cooking.

No, it's actually the opposite, player numbers are still up. Just because some people (incl. me) don't like it does not mean that it isn't very popular.

looking at the steamcharts i think OP is just trying to cope heh.

poe1's numbers will probably always be much lower from now on. it'll feel bad for the devs working on it.. kinda like being in the second raid group of a guild in wow ;)

everyone will want to be in the "good" group lol
having to work with the other group might even feel like punishment.

*tbf if both games space out their leagues perfectly, i could see myself hop from one to the other in some kind of cycle.
