The amount of outrage is insane. The point of EA is big changes.

"
there's a reason streamers play builds and people play the streamer builds, they're the only good builds to play and ggg just killed most of the good builds in the game and are coming for the rest.

Lol, there is so much customization depending on your personal tastes, I have no idea how people do not see it. I only played ranger yet, so can really tell only about this class, and man there are very many different ways to play even if you don't mix it with other classes skills. And mixing potential is endless.

Also, some builds are not so easy to copy. For example, I am using snipe as my primary damaging skill, but for playing it you would need to learn perfect window of snipe, and first couple of days or longer you will be very bad with the same build because you would miss critical window of the snipe all the time and would be very frustrated about it.
"
Uhh, early access for any game I've played was just a weekend, or up to a week of access before the game released to masses. And it was paid for. This is quite different. Labeled "early access", but you're paying them to beta test and server load test for them.

I don't agree with the process, and calling a six month beta test early access, but I'm not against them raking it in either.

One week or weekend of "early access" of a release title is a marketing scam. The original purpose of EA was for testing and feedback to get the title ready for release. Have you played Larian early access? BG3 was something like 2 years of continuous tinkering and tweaking, changing this and that, until release. And continuous improvement after 1.0
Exactly OP, EA is all about big changes, they did occur, so hats off to the developer for that imo.

If you don't fully understand what EA is about then you probably shouldn't have dropped 2 solid days into a Lvl 70 overpowered character that promptly got nerfed into oblivion.

This is not a complete game, that will happen many more times I'm sure, why is there a race to endgame less than a week after release, I don't get it.

You'd be better off with 3 LvL 20 characters trying out what's possible.

Streamers need to lay of the RedBull for a couple of days and stop fanning the stupid nerf/buff/character busted hype. Calm down.

If you want a free respec, well ok, you knew the risks, or should have done but did it anyway but I'm guessing someone who has the time to get to high levels in a couple of days has got the time to do it again.
I really do not get the outcry. This is early access. Drastic changes are to be expected. Everybody playing during early access is inherently accepting this. Because this is what early access is for.

Playing early access and then not wanting to accept drastic changes is just illogical and the affected persons fault. It's like holding my hand in fire and complaining that the fire is hot.
"
People have a right to be 'outraged'. Diablo 3 released almost 13 years ago now, with MORE viable builds than this has currently. There is no excuse.

I don't know what you THINK this is but it's a BETA. This is NOT a release. They just managed to get a bunch of people to pay to beta test the game.
"
To get it out of the way. They should offer free respec for big changes. There are clearly some overlooked untested balancing issues, like trials.

However, the whole point of early access is to open it up to a large playerbase to find broken things and fix it. Overpowered and unintended interactions will get fixed. There haven't only been nerfs.

Many skills and supports aren't even implemented for the current classes, let alone the other 6 and other ascendancies we are getting.

Many posts are acting like this a finished PoE league. This is not that. If you can't handle big changes then I suggest waiting for full release.

There are legitimate criticisms and good feedback to give. But it is just boggling the expectations people have when GGG have communicated extremely well about the state of the game and what this period is for.

Stay sane, Exiles.

The point of a Beta is big changes. The point of Early Access is that the game should be mostly done, with maybe some missing things, like certain classes. POE2 was no where near ready for EA, and they shouldnt have called it that. Closed Beta should have lasted another 6 months minimum.
"
POE 1 got to where it is because of these same crybabies. They do it 'cause it works.

Give it time, and POE 2 will turn into exactly POE 1 but with better graphics, and double the character choice.

Sadly I think GGG is way to stubborn to admit they were wrong. The same feedback was given in Beta and the devs ignored all of it. They wanna make the game the way they want, regardless of how many players they end up with.
Every company has own definition of EA. Some just try to milk extra $$, others never go out of EA. I mean it's not even comparable with others. GGG clearly stated what their EA means.

For your support, you will be able to test the game. And no this doesn't make you paid beta tester. You become supporter. Because final product is for free.

Paid beta testers were people (include me) who bought D4, even with their EA.

I must admit, I enjoy PoE2 more than D4. By quite a margin. When I compare price of those games ... it's just sad

D4 EA ~$100 | PoE2 EA $30 = $70 diff
D4 1.0 ~$70 | PoE2 1.0 $0 = infinite diff

What we got on D4 launch as endgame? Spamming one dungeon, with constantly restarting game to speed up process. Until it's nerfed, then find new dungeon and do that again until 100. We call it "peak entertainment". I would say D4 was beta whole time until VoH expansion comes, for additional price ofc. I'm not saying "d4 bad" at this point, but poe2 just has better value.

I'm happy they are making drastic changes, they should! We just need to provide them valuable feedback afterwards. I don't think that "you just nerfed build I'm playing, this game is sooo bad" is even feedback.
All these post about people being upset, honestly even with EA Mmakss sense yea people get upset at THINGS. Their forum post don't bother me. That would be silly.

But bruh this a post is about you getting triggered because someone else upset about something?

People are mad about something happening to them and you're triggered because someone else is mad about something happening to them, instead playing the game bahaahhahahahahaha omfg pathetic and hilarious omfg.

Jeeze I thought the CoX cry babies were sad, this is next fucking level. Now there are pages of dudes who get upset because other people are upset posting on the infernet.

Fuckin clown world.

Thats actually the point of alpha/beta. EA is paid for, not a beta test. EA is to generate income while they develop the rest of the content. but carry on.

I dont even expect things to be balanced where they want them. All I ask is they remove respec costs while they do so.
