The amount of outrage is insane. The point of EA is big changes.
Eh, w.e reroll, try something different. Don't be a streamer and you'll get to play your build :D

" yea pretty funny. When to try experiment without following guides if not now? I'm purposely avoiding build videos and content because even if I don't use it, it will influence my thinking. I want to discover stuff myself, and I'm having a great time as well as being strong. Obviously eventually it's worth seeing that content to get ideas because you can't think of everything, but this is the most fun time to just try stuff. |

" I agree, exactly why respec point cost should be dramatically lower in order to experiment. |

" No. They don't. They have a right to voice their opinion and give their feedback and criticism. They do not have the right to be "outraged". It's a disproportionate, emotionally immature, and incredibly unhelpful reaction. If you want something to improve, and want to be taken seriously, outrage is the last thing you should be resorting to. |

" Uhh, early access for any game I've played was just a weekend, or up to a week of access before the game released to masses. And it was paid for. This is quite different. Labeled "early access", but you're paying them to beta test and server load test for them. I don't agree with the process, and calling a six month beta test early access, but I'm not against them raking it in either. I'm not one of those people who are going to pay them to do that. If I obtained a key freely, i'd play. But i've supported a few hundred bucks already in my time playing over the years. Seems silly to pay to beta test for them. |

" I think you're conflating the thing AAA companies have started doing to give a few days before proper release to people who will pay for it, and it's considered a pretty scummy move. A lot of real early access games are months/years with heavy developer involvement. And it is abused, but I don't think that's the case here. Fair enough if you don't want to participate. However, it's essentially free since you get the equivalent points in the shop in both games. I personally think it's fun and exciting to be part of this and be able to test and give good feedback but can understand your position too. |

A thought occurred to me while reading some of the melt down posts. For those of you having a coniption right now that were also saying earlier "this game is great! Don't change the difficulty or the drops, d2 was and is awesome!" You of course did all your baal runs without teleport right? :)

" You ever stop to consider that maybe why everyone was playing the CoF build was 1. Was actually really FUN today play 2. Felt really good and satisfying raining comets from the sky 3. The playstyle was very FUN 4. Resembled the classic mage ARPG style of game play from as far back as D3. OP is a stretch. Still had to be careful, still had to watch out for boss mechanics and the game was painfully slow and a slog up until mid ACT 3 when you could finally pick up the gems required. On top of that mana management was a problem. People gravitate towards things that are actually FUN. Who are you to judge players for playing something FUN. And what GGG did is completely destroy one of the most satisfying and fun mechanics in the game. Trigger spells were unique to POE and they were FUN.
