Path of Exile 2 is an Action RPG which is all about making powerful characters and getting epic loot. Finding the right balance for character builds, items and economy is crucial for this genre, and it cannot be achieved without showing the game in its current state to the community. ... " LMAO do you know there are tons of 1 button builds destroying bosses out there that have been touched like at all? minions are afking the final bosses:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84A94NU90u8 trigger builds were never the best build, lightning arrow, minions, and lots of things are nuking the entire map on day 2, and they never nerf triggers because they are too strong, they nerf triggers because it is not "intended design", because players don't play the game "as they want it". that is why people are mad, because this is a classic Blizzard move, trying to teach players how to play the game by nuking the fun, interesting things to the dust and making players do things by their book. and by the way, what is their "intended design"? by this patch we can see, it is you have to crit with high damage to make you trigger skill work to do damage(or utility), how much damage? if you open your game, you can test it, it is an insane number that won't even work, this is why people are mad,it is not the nerfing itself, it's this insane attitude with strange "vision" that is unclear and never communicated. plus the unaffordable price to respec if you still don't get it I don't have more to say. And then you pull this, thanks a lot for that. Not only do you make your self's look like a bunch of amateurs. You now made me look like one as well for recommending you. I'll be forced to keep playing when they all want too. But I will no longer spend any money on your product going forward. If it was not for me recommending and getting them all to spend money. I would uninstall over this change. This has to be one of the biggest knee jerk, and completely non thought out balance changes I have seen in 30 years of online gaming. So congratulations on that I guess |

Actually unplayable. This is not very path of exile of you guys I'll be honest. You should change the damage of the procced spell not the amount energy build up per proc because doing it this way you take away the aspect of choice for players.
I can no longer make a crit build around the skill/spell *I* enjoy, I'm forced to use what you think is good. You're literally pigeonholding players and it's so extremely non-PoE. Cast on Crit is also a much heavier investment than Cast on Freeze/Ignite/Shock. Not only in terms of points and gear, but also spirit. Why would you make it so Eye of Winter literally generates 0.05% per crit on white mobs? Make it so the % still goes up a fair bit but the Comet(or whatever spell is on CoC) damage goes down based on the hits or something. You could literally pool the damage as a hidden variable in the CoC Energy build up and deal a % of the damage from Comet based on that. Make thresholds to make it easier to balance. 10% @ X amount of damage pooled, 20% at X and so on. Running around spamming EoW for 1minute without a proc from Comet is not fun to play and it's not fun to look at either. It'd be more fun if I at least got to see the comets, even if they were heavily nerfed depending on pool and what target it is (White, Magic, Rare and Unique). Again, you've literally removed all choice from the player now, we are forced by your hand to build a specific way and this is not the GGG I know and love. " They said in previous post they will tackle biggest issues first but they got more on radar and implementing changes take time , it's almost holiday season, just give them bit of time and they balance other skills too. " stop passive-aggressively replying to anyone and nitpicking and sugarcoating this with "this is early access lol" if you want to add anything constructive to this, try to explain why is dealing big damage to make coc work is a good design, or maybe explain why whole lot of insane builds are not getting "balance". or even explain what is the "vision" so people can have a better understanding of what is going on or maybe, try to gift out some rare to people in need of respecing in towns, there are many of them. I know you like this game, and I do too, but constructive criticism is much better than glazing the devs. especially when something is wrong. I won't reply to anything if it is not topic related |
