PoE2 - Not enough Spirit, but i have enougfh spirit.
Hi, I have something in the same lines as what's being mentioned here. Im using the demon form of the infernalist class and I currently have 60 base spirit + 36 from body (not weapon). Both of my weapons are unequipped so that I made sure that no spirit was taken from them. I run blasphemy with one curse and 1 support gem which need 60 spirit allocation and I wanted to add Withering presence as a secondary spirit allocation which cost 30. When not in demon form, this work perfectly, but if I try to switch to demon form it will not allow me saying 'Not enough spirit'. However, I can unequip Withering presence, switch to demon form (it will allow me with only blasphemy) and equip withering presence again. In that case Withering presence and blasphemy both proc because I can see the wither debut increasing on nearby enemies.

" the problem is not that the gems are not working. the problem is that the game just counts the spirit that I got from the boss in act 1 and ignores the spirit from the sceptre. once I bring the game to a point where the correct spirit is shown, my minions are summoned, but when they die the first time the spirit jumps back to 30 and game ignores the spirit from the items again. no more minons possible. i was trying to fix it for hours always the same result |

Definitely a bug here.
I have 73 spirit and am trying to equip and use Cast on Shock which requires 60 spirit. I can clearly see 73/73 spirit available. I remove all weapons from both 1 and 2 slots. With my empty weapon slot 1 enabled, it says "not enough spirit" even though I can still see 73/73. I do have frostbolt socketed but no other support gems. With my empty weapon slot 2 enabled, the Cast on Shock buff will activate and I see 60/73 spirit. edit: There IS a bug but its not what I expected. When I equip frostbolt directly as a spell, I can see that I had it disabled for slot 1. This is not something I can control when its socketed as a "support" for CoS buff. Once I enabled it for both weapon sets, CoS works as expected. The bugs are: 1. Weapon set enablement seems to be attached to the skill gem itself. This should be ignored probably when socketed as a support to a buff gem 2. The tooltip for the buff gem says I don't have enough spirit. So some new knowledge. I did the following
Unequipped all weapons, spirit = 30 Equipped spectre with 142 spirit on main hand weapon slot 1, spirit = 30 Eqipped slot 1 with a magic wand and slot 2 with the spectre, spirit = 172 Put the same skills on slot 1 and slot 2 Now the following happens, minions spawn, when they die, spirit drops to 30/30 and no minions spawn anymore But when 1 switch to set 2 minons spawn again and spirit shows the correct values, when they die spirit again at 30/30. Switching back to set 1 all fine again. So when minions die I have to switch to the other set to get it work again. Defenitely a bug, I‘m on ps5 btw Also, when I switch the set, the skillbar shown, remains to be the bar from set 1, I know it because 1 skill on the bars is different Last edited by KL-Herry-77#1669 on Dec 12, 2024, 1:19:17 PM

I took the Cast of Ignite/Shock/Freeze stone. When you try to activate it, an exclamation mark appears, there is not enough spirit. If you take it out and insert it again, the exclamation mark disappears, but when you try to activate it, the exclamation mark again.
The free spirit is 370, with a requirement of 60. Intelligence 170, with a requirement of 72. Completely stripped the character, removed all the skill stones. Bloodmage. All spirit abilities switching off after 1 use. Even ascendancy passive, when take blood vessel. Spirit returns to unreserved and abilities says (!) Disabled: not enough Spirit, before touching any gem in skillset.

I'm having this issue with trying to equip Clarity and Vitality onto Discipline with 34 Spirit available.
In fact, only equipping Clarity is possible. With 34 Spirit available, equipping Clarity is possible, leaving me with 24 Spirit available. With Clarity equipped and 24 Spirit available, equipping Vitality is not possible, causing Discipline to black out with the red exclamation mark and the hover-tip: "Not enough Spirit", despite leaving me with 4 Spirit available. Without Clarity equipped and 34 Spirit available, equipping Vitality alone is not even possible, causing Discipline to black out with the red exclamation mark and the hover-tip: "Not enough Spirit", despite leaving me with 14 Spirit available. My Support Gem Capacity is not the issue either; assuming I have both Clarity and Vitality equipped my capacity would be STR (6/8), DEX (5/10), INT (6/16). According to the tool-tips, Cost Multiplier is not the issue, as neither Clarity nor Vitality have a cost multiplier, only Additional Reservation of 10 and 20 Spirit respectively. Again starting from 34 Spirit, I should be able to equip both, but not only can I not do that, I cannot even equip Vitality alone. I can only equip Clarity which leaves me with 24 Spirit available. EDIT: The Skills menu must be bugged. Clarity and Vitality are both equipped and activated, and Discipline is active. However, the Skills menu still shows Discipline blacked out with the red exclamation mark and the hover-tip: "Not enough Spirit", despite leaving me with 4 Spirit available. I was able to fix this by unequipping my set 2 weapon and offhand. hope this helps.

So me again, I was able to fix the "problem" for me. Unfortunately, a big part of the problem was the user.
On set 1 skillbar, I had a skill that was given from the weapon of set 2, the cast of that skill logically forced a weapon swap, minions disappeared and spirit dropped. So the manual weapon swap, mentioned in my last post, "fixed" it because I went back to set 1. so it was my fault. however, for me as a new player it was really hard to figure this out. on PS5 I don't see which set is active and since the skillbar doesn't change, even when you switch manually averything looks the same. So I always thought that I switch to the other set, but in truth I always swichted back to set 1. I assumed that the skillbars are connected to the weapon sets, but it looks like that this is not the case, because using a skill that is located on set 1 skillbar but is provided from a weapon of set 2, forces the weapon swap, but it looks like using a skill that is on the set 1 skillbar and not provided from set 1 weapon, doesn't force a weapon swap back to set 1. I do have a same problem. Cast on Shock - requiered 60 Spirit.
I do have 90 (2 from quests and 1 (+30) from armour) Gem is Corrupted and no matter if I take items off or remoe all gems - all is unworking and Disabled. |
