PoE2 - Not enough Spirit, but i have enougfh spirit.

Ok, here is how it works:

1) Press G
2) Locate the skill that is not working for you so "cast on XXX" and hover over it
3) At the bottom of the skill it says "Place one or more skill germs into the meta gems sockets..."
4) Take a drag the skill you want to connect it with to the empty sockets
5) it will equip them and you can use the skill now :)

Had the same problem with case on freeze...

I just added a support gem into cast on freeze and its now working...

Not sure why...

Same issue for me, I am using Chrono Sorc.I have 60/60 mana, but I get a red exclamation point when I try to activate the skill. I even equipped a Scepter, I then had 160/160 mana, there is definitely an issue or some underlying mechanic I am not aware that is preventing me activating the skill and not apparent.

same here.. i swap out for some testing some of the cast on gems... it works fine.. then i whant swap back to my "old" one and all gems have not enought spirit...

NOW i cant play anything, the tested one or my old one.. rip

i buyed 3 more of cast on freeze gems but no one will work

swoat weapons, change weapon sets at the skill, relog, select other server.. nothing!

FIX it plz we cant play the game!

This was my issue, thanks for the fix! I had herald of thunder active on weapon set 2 and it said not enough spirit when on set 1.

i fixed on my own, BUY a new SKILL gem u whant cast after xxx and sockel it again, delete the old brigt one...

carefull!! unequip the old one first, other it will upgrade the level of the old one!

Have you ever change the weapon set before when you use this specific skill gem? I had the some problem before until I realized before I put the skill gem in cast on freeze , i disabled it on weapon set ll, that is why everything I swap to set ll cast on freeze wouldn’t work. Better equipped the skill gem separately before you put it in cast on freeze, make sure you can use this gem on both set then put it back. Hope this helps you.
