Okay, I can play now with the stand alone client

I downloaded the standalone client and still does not have access to the game, cant play it...
I got gifted the early access key and redeemed it successfully and downloaded the game on steam.
I did everything, still can't play.
What a joke of a company, they did some DataBase updates right before launch on 6th maybe that's the reason for that f--cked up situation with the keys and access............

Get key for Path of Exile 2 Early Access for Epic Games.
Enter key on client, download game.
Open Path of Exile 2 website and create account.
Link Epic Games account with Path of Exile 2 account.
Verify I own Path of Exile 2 Early Access on Epic Games.
Launch game. "No access."
Friend: "Try downloading the client directly from Path of Exile 2 website."
Do so. "No access."
2 days later, nothing.

After receiving an email TODAY that the mail I sent two days ago couldn't even be received, I gave up. Refunded the game just now.

Clearly there is no hope of solving this "client per client" when the only option they give us is to contact support, and support are not even receiving our emails.

Pretty tiresome weekend, so I don't know if I'm even trying to buy it through the website. I already lost a lot of time.

I'm having a very similar problem. I created a POE account and then purchased the "Thaumaturge of the Vaal" supporter pack. The email address I used for my POE account is also the email address that is associated with my Steam account. I redeemed the Steam key, installed the game, launched, tried to login, and got a message saying that I don't have access to the game. I assumed this was because my Steam account and my POE account need to be linked. So, I went back to the POE website, went to Manage Account and under "Secondary Login" -> "Steam", I clicked the CONNECT button. A browser window opened asking me to sign into POE through Steam. I clicked the "Sign In" button and was then redirected back to the POE website where I received the following message:

"YOU CANNOT ADD THIS LOGIN METHOD TO THIS ACCOUNT."
"You cannot merge two accounts with the same login methods."

No idea how to fix this and maybe I can't on my own. I emailed support a couple of days ago but judging by posters who say they opened support tickets more than a week ago and still haven't gotten a response, I guess I won't be playing POE2 anytime soon. :-(

Same here, ended up refunding my Steam purchase, no response to my email to their support after 6 days. Insane.

The same problem. I linked STEAM and POE account, but I don't have access to POE2 website part like trade and stuff
