I'm too soft for Poe2

I don't even particularly like hard games, but this one is great. People just need to get used to the fact that PoE 2 requires fundamentally a vastly different approach. More mechnical gameplay skills, for one.

They won't because the average gamer these days is a dumbed down human wanting dumbed down games.

Thank goodness for this one.

Young man, are you working or studying? If not, then perhaps you have a lot of energy for the game, and who works and studies and moreover has a family remains little strength that would devote as much time as asks poe 2. No need to call busy people stupid, it's very uncultured.

I feel like it's a progression issue. The items and skills you get on the play through are not strong enough for the level you are at.

Or bosses are simply overtuned. I often hit a dps wall with them. They are clearly designed to go through 1-2 full rotations before defeating them or going into the next phase, but I often find myself at the 3rd rotation and still at half or more hp.

Which is odd cause I just mow through the regular mobs before them.

Once I hit a wall I go back and try to find a better weapon but often nothing drops, or the vendors don't sell anything good. It doesn't help that not enough white items drop to craft something useful.
You might get 1 drop in 30 minutes and roll a defensive stat on it that pretty much makes it a downgrade to your lower level weapon with damage mods.

Which again wouldn't be a problem if bosses weren't some of the worst bullet sponges in gaming with 1-2 hit kill combos.

And god forbid you build defensive. Tried one on the first character, you end up just tickling them.

I'm in love with the difficulty. I live for challenge.

No you don't, or you'd be playing CoD in a lobby full of verbally abusive professional 13 year olds who are performing 8 million actions per minute. Dude, it's an arpg. You aren't in the finals at Worlds. "Right click this guy 48 more times than you did in PoE 1 and weave in a space bar between each one" isn't difficult. It's just a lower speed limit.

Yes I do.

It sounds like you're just adverse to challenge and probably suffering from skill issues as well. Don't presume to tell me what I like and enjoy, remember that going forward.

Me: GM in SC2 and Challenger in League
You: Pushed space bar and right clicked a rhoa to death, and found a Shako in D4

DS and ER were easy. I just didn't love them. You're over here skill shaming after calling an arpg challenging, and I am casually doing things in pvp that you're physically and mentally incapable of doing even if you dedicated your life to it.

The most impressive thing here is that you've quoted you're GM in SC2 on like four posts and haven't figured out nobody cares lol. It honestly sounds desperate like you just want someone to go "OH WOW, He's GM! Crazy!" and yet, it won't ever happen, most likely not even on SC2s own forums.

This games not hard, it's boring. Boring things aren't normally sought after are they? I got to cruel, I sat there and went wow I Sure don't look forward to repeating that again. Plus, if I wanted difficulty, I'd play a better genre for more engaging difficulty, not an ARPG that are historically about making power tripping builds.

I have? You took the time to research my history but not know that I've said it twice, so you're lying for effect. Damn though, that made you angry. "No one cares" but "let me look up his search history, intentionally lie about it, and then create a strawman where he's thinking things that I've decided in my own head". I'm getting jealous closet fanboy vibes. Get a grip son.

You're good at games too though big guy. Sure, you can't high level micro or macro dozens of units simultaneously, but no one slams runes into chest armor like you do. No one. Remember that time you walked up and killed that zombie on the beach? INSANE! See? That was the same as me being ranked top 400 in NA Challenger for LoL or GM in SC2 that no one even cares about! You're the Faker of low ceiling arpgs and no one can take that away from you.
People who say it is hard, it is not. You are still in the PoE 1 mindset. You need a new mindset for this game. Trans and aug every good base while leveling. Regal + Ex if you hit good mods. Visit vendor every level up. Gamble. Gear matters a ton, it goes from unbeatable to cakewalk just with a semi-decent weapon. Also overleveling boosts you a lot compared to poe1. A few +dmg passives, even the small ones, will make a hard encounter, easy.

Builds just write themselves btw. I tried doing crazy fancy stuff, but in the end, just sticking to my class area and picking all the relevant stuff with a good balance of offense and defense, is the way to go, at least for levelling.

To people who complain about the movement, just switch to wasd. That's it. It's amazing. Never look back.

Didn't bother to read any of the other complaints because the game is just too good, you are just stuck in the past.

Once I got my +2 Minion Gems sceptre, campaign became quite easy.

However, to get that single mod sceptre, I gambled all my gold until A2 Cruel (probably 150-200k gold), raided vendors regularly, and picked up every sceptre and used Transmute + Aug orbs whenever possible. Why the hell did they remove alteration orbs? Obtaining/Crafting 1 mod items should be easier :|

...and of course I've found a +3 sceptre 1 hour later, after I used Regal + 3 x Exalt on the +2 one.

Did I say I was good? I said I got far enough to know this games boring. Then you went back into your dumb ass rankings lol. Did you notice once again, no one cared?

I didn't have to look up your history, you've commented it on multiple threads on the same forums I am reading cause I guess you got nothing else in life. Wow, shocker. Stay salty cause you certainly seem real angry. Probably faking his ranking on a dead game it seems.

Tedious and boring =/= hard. The issue is its boring. There is no reason to play as there is little satisfaction or reward for beating the bosses.
