" Bro got owned by the first boss and deleted it. Since then he stopped playing video games and continues his work in a salt mine |

" That is because poe 2 is designed firstmost for console. I tried the control scheme and did not like it. I just played the first zone and logged in town yesterday after the server troubles. Sad that most supporter money from 2017 onwards went to developing a console-focus game. Heart of Purity

Yeah I don't like the balance day one. Tried warrior first, and it was godawful. The rolling slam ability takes 3 seconds before it does any damage and yet you have to pay mana for it, and it does less damage than default attack???
I tried building tanky and rushed the regen node (0.2%) at level 3 with 96 life and 0.2% regen I should only take 8 minutes and 20 seconds to heal to full, but I think there is a rounding error because I wasn't even getting 1 life ever (not even waiting 20 seconds). No access to leech at all so can't sustain early. all leech nodes on the tree don't give leech, just improve its effect. takes 2-3 life potions to heal your life early, so dying to white mobs due to running out of flasks. Grinded to level 5 to try infernal cry. I thought that was 10x better (infernal cry + default attack), but still the sustain is a major issue. Got hard blocked on grelwood forest. Tried merc and sorc after, and ranged is so much better because you get hit less so can sustain more easily. cold nova with the right supports pretty much freezes everything except bosses. In act 1 armour doesn't feel like it is reducing damage at all, even picking up a significant number of armour nodes. in act 1 energy shield for sorc seems pointless since it is almost always at zero in fights it takes about 10 seconds to start recharging and another 10 seconds to recharge to full. Was looking at the faster start of energy shield recharge nodes, and energy shield recharge rate nodes but it looks like it would take until about level 40 to get three clusters. Too many fights are just one or two shots and you are dead. There are no movement skills. maybe you don't need it for travel but a blink skill would be nice because you get surrounded a lot and can't dodge roll through enemies. The act 1 area with the rituals you get spawncamped if you die and your checkpoint was a ritual. I will keep playing for now because it's new, but if the balance remains this way I will stick to poe1. Last edited by whyBish#2562 on Dec 7, 2024, 4:01:57 AM

" who asked for that? |

Yeah i struggled early, got a good groove going, but now that i have to do a 10 minute boss fight at the end of the act that can 1 shot me (despite speccing into defensives and having mostly rare items with OK rolls) Im not feeling it. Its too late to get a refund on steam which feels even worse. Im level 17, and the zone is 15 but I can't get 1/2 way through phase 2 before being one tapped.

" No you don't, or you'd be playing CoD in a lobby full of verbally abusive professional 13 year olds who are performing 8 million actions per minute. Dude, it's an arpg. You aren't in the finals at Worlds. "Right click this guy 48 more times than you did in PoE 1 and weave in a space bar between each one" isn't difficult. It's just a lower speed limit. | |
"LOL you absolutely did not beat Elden ring on your first try in 55 minutes nice rage bait. |
