Hard crashing PC locks up

Same issue here. DX12 hard crash returning to desktop when changing location or returning in city
Ok update on my issues. I have a 4070, Ryzen 7800, and the 24h2. What helped me was updating a critical patch for my ssd and uninstalling GeForce experience. Literally all my freezes, crashes, and blue screens stopped completely. Hope this helps someone.

Also experiencing similar issues here where the game crashes. Switching to Vulkan renderer fixed it for me for now.

I am running a AMD 9800x3d CPU & Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU.
Windows is on version 23H2 with optional Windows patch KB5041587 which contains the 24h2 optimizations for AMD.

For me it is pretty clear that Windows 23H2+KB5041587 or 24H2 puts you at risk for crashes if you use DX12 and have a specific hardware combination.

Hey! Any way to clean instal 23h2 without that specific update?

78 pages, still no response from GGG. Not good enough, refunding.

It is a known issue.

Mate, they have commented on every other bug. They haven't commented on this one, they haven't asked the community for any specific information about the crashes, and they haven't warned the community to be careful that this could impact their hardware. Stop defending them, they are in the wrong.

This 100%. Their silence is speaking volumes. It's absolutely unacceptable.
Wanted to point out for the devs (if you're reading at all) this is like a 9 out of 10 times repro for me in the Act 3 town, for whatever reason. Seems to be the worst offender.
The same problem with dx12.

dx11 works for me, but I have random stuttering and drop fps in hubs.

My setup:
GPU: RTX 4060 Colourful
Motherboard: A520M-A PRO with PCI 3.0
CPU: Ryzen 3 5300G
SSD: WDC WDS100T2B0A-00SM50
16 GB RAM
Win 11 24H2

I think it is because of y GPU, because another GPU RTX 4060 but Palit works fine with my wife PC. CPU the same.

Yeah we need to stop trying workarounds and keep pushing that they fix this asap. This should be their no.1 priority.

+1 same issue
Did anyone encountered the problem after 0.1.0c update?

It states “Fixed a client crash.” Could be something else though.

My crashes have increased since the last patch...
