Hard crashing PC locks up

Just wanted to point out how delusional you all sound right now.

"Oh its all about making as much money as possible, they don't care!!"

Bro, its been 4 days since they started work again for the new years and they've fixed 8 instances of client crashes.

Did it fix your crash? Maybe not.

Are they ignoring it?

Why the hell would they ignore it, while putting out 6 patches in 4 days fixing 8 client crashes.

Do you guys hear yourselves? lmfao
I crashed the first time I loaded up since the thread optimization patch. They did not fix it.
Where are the notes about fixing crashes? There are more reports than ever now.

Read the patch notes lmao, they're all there.

At no point did I say they fixed "this" crash, I simply pointed out that they have fixed 8 various client crashes, and attempted to implement some adjustments to reduce the chance of this specific crash happening. They never said they fixed it, they said it can help.

Point being, they don't know the root cause yet otherwise they would have fixed it.

Given there's been 8 client crash fixes in the past few days alone, I think it's borderline insane for people to just assume they don't care about fixing this crash - especially when this crash is still labeled as a high priority fix.

They should solely be focusing on this crash and the loading crash.

These two crashes are not crashes to desktop, I see that you have not read this thread from your answers so let me say it again: These crashes are complete OS crashes that require manual shutdown via press of the power button. Doing this is detrimental to your components' lifespan. Each time this crash happens there is a dice roll that decides whether your PC is bricked or not.

In addition these are your "rolls":
1)Standard builds
15% = 3/20. This is literally higher than chances of getting a critical in DnD with a crit-fishing build.

2)ACPI 2.0 with ACPI actually managing to trigger through the hard crash (low possibility in itself)
5/1000 = 1/200. This is close to getting Invincible to drop.

3)ACPI 2.0 with ACPI actually not managing to trigger through the hard crash (high possibility)
15% = 3/20. This is literally higher than chances of getting a critical in DnD with a crit-fishing build.

4)An "optimized" build
5% = 1/20. This is the critical chance in DnD. As in itself if you are farming rares, know that getting that drop is about the same or of even lower probability than this.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.

Where did u get these numbers?
Crashing still happening but I imagine this isnt an easy fix to locate the problem that only seems to be happening a portion of the player base, they are actively working on it since it popped up and they have according to them fixed a number of crash instances can people just stop for one moment and think, this is a big issue but highly doubtful it is a quick fix or one that they can just force out in an evening stop with this entitlement and just keep posting so this thread and issue remains top priority without turning into babies (I have personally been crashing since the 10th of December with the only work around being turning off multithreading).

Hundreds of thousands of copies of this game have been sold, many issues have risen during the EA of POE2 but so many people making posts expecting GGG to focus solely on their issue because they paid for EA, this is exactly what we paid for to discover bugs and balance issues so the game can get into a working state for release, y'all acting like toddlers who didnt get their favourite sweet at the shop.

Bro each hotfix to address some crashes has created more crashes that didn't happen before the hotfix. They have no clue how to fix it and are breaking the game even more when they try. How do you not see this as a major problem?
