Lasso only remove cores from the process, which can help not your entire PC to freeze, but the game still will freeze.

Going to give that a try. Set it to -10%.

Were you lucky with the temporary solution using BES cpu limiter? For me it works so far, but I would love GGG to hotfix this.

So far it does seem to work. I had a very short freeze during load once, maybe BES prevented a full freeze.

Not getting completely locked to where I have to do a hard reset, but I am getting frequent crashes that I did not have on launch. It worked flawlessly for about 6 hours until I reached Act 2 and then about halfway it started happening.

I can see, however, the CPU performance ramping to 100% often, so perhaps it's related. BES did not work for me, neither did removing multithreading.

Same issue here. AMD Ryzan 6900HX with a Nvidia RTX 3080 ti. Played for hours last night and have had 3 hard crashes when zoning today.

Installed w10 instead of w11.
Didn't have any crash since I did (2h30 of gameplay since)

Experienced it several times. Crashes everything on the PC and requires hard reset.

Game runs brilliantly apart from the random freeze of death. Audio is looping during the freeze.

This workaround seems to be working fine for me . I´ve been playing for almost 2 hours and no freezes. Yesterday I couldn´t play for more than 10 minutes without having to hard reset my PC.

Had like 20 crashes yesterday with 10 of them i had to hard reset.

Having this problem as well in both games, though it was much less frequent in PoE 1. Always happens on a loading screen, always requires a hard reset to fix.

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, NVidia RTX 2060, Windows 11 24H2, latest drivers.

I'll give BES a shot to see if I can at least avoid the hard reset.
