Cold Chronomancer Megathread. All content cleared. Leveling guide added. Low-budget build added.

I never feel safe in the simulacrum. Will look for an opportunity/

I was checking the scaling and there is reduced cooldown on time freeze with quality.
I have no idea how to scale it up.

Frost wall 21 would be nice but I can’t find a single one.

Over 60k spark fry everything. Much better than frost bolt.
Wow, I did the Trial of Sekhemas and actually got to the Zarokh final boss with this build (never managed to get this far before). Huge thanks again to Monik.

I died at the boss, I'm not 100% (was in panic mode because 1st time at that boss) but I think I died due to this bug;
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3665521
I mucked up 1 of my Temporal Rifts, so was low on mana, which meant I couldn't kill him in 1 of my time freezes.
He was at 50%hps then I suddenly died. It might have been the bug or maybe my mana/health pool was low and I got caught with some attack.

Has anyone used this build to kill this boss? Should I hold off doing the frost wall combos until the Zarokh completes his first part (where he freezes time and I have to run to collect each thing)?

Just farm for flask elsewhere. And you will have all mana in the world :)
But, yes, basically, just some experience with temporal rift if you have enough damage to drop the phase in 1 manabar and you will kill him.

Monik, could you explain, why Wild Storm instead of Lightning Rod? Bosses will be killed anyway, but usual mobs, i see that they are not killed regularly in one shot and I suppose this is because of low damage procs. It is kinda really wild range between something like 2000 and, 27000 damage.

P.s. for the people who does not know, 'lucky' mechanic rolls something two times and get better result. So with such insane range the dps should be much more stable.

Because this is a near 100% crit build. Lightning rod doesn't proc on crits.

But if the enemy was not killed with the first spark (see simulacrum videos) the ambush and almost 100% will not work anymore. Or I am just wrong.

Literally bc we are running a critical cold build. Lightning Rod's value drops down with each % of critical chance we have. Malice aura adds 2% crit to Spark per stack (each 0.5%). Also, it's just spark.

Lucky roll doesn't guarantee better result, it still can roll crap. Don't overestimate it.

Wild Storm is better even for default stormweaver builds like this (which actually anoint LR): https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/u19m307y

PoB2 shows:
- LR adds to Spark 8.5% more dps for me (w/o critical weakness and not counting Ambush),
- Wild Storm adds to Spark 14.3% more dps.
- For cold spells, LR has almost 0 value.

If you want to go hard on Spark, just roll Stormweaver. The build above costs about 10d. With the same gear/tree Chronomancer will do like 50% less dps with Spark.

I did just that yesterday. First time finishing the trial. But most important is being lucky and smart with the boon.
Not sure for the boss, I one shot him.

The flask is 8 div and makes everything so much easier. Just get it. If you don’t have currency, came chaos like 15 times.
Or better do some flipping.

However I can’t fit blink in my weapon 1. I have the end game build from Monik and 224 spirit on the scepter. Not sure how Monik fits it

I don't know what are your gems.
Better to make some maxroll so I can take a look. Or just tell me all your spirit reservation buffs and their supports.

My endgame build clearly has 60 spirit to play around even with 206 spirit sceptre. I did CoS 1st, and switched to Blink w/o problems.

Edit: After a second thought by taking a look to maxroll and comparing late/endgame builds:

- I removed Heightened Curse from Blasphemy and put it in Conductivity.
- Removed Clarity.
- Removed Grim Feast.

This way got 62 spirit from that to play around.

I didn't update the endgame build (see no reason for that), but my current one has both Temp Chains and Conducvity in Blasphemy with Heightened Curse. Had to get some more spirit for that. No blink tho on main set anymore.
