POE 2 early access paywall

People desperately looking for things to complain about, eh.
I see this "WhY dO wE HaVE tO PAYY 30 dOLLArS" complaint everywhere and it's starting to get really annoying.

They've been doing this a long time. I'm quite certain that their decision to do it this way is backed by actual experience with the process. Can you tell us how many game labels / companies you've successfully run for over a decade?

If you cannot afford the $30 then I'd urge you to question your own self-management, before knocking a successful development company's choices with their own product.

The game will be free to play upon release.

With the amount of joy this game has gave me over the past ten plus years, I think the early access fee is more than acceptable. It'll be free later on anyway right? No clue what all the crying is about. GGG is still a company trying to survive on a free access game. Yea, all is good.

Yeah GGG is just a poor indie company, not backed by a major corporation.

You can play the game for free when it is fully out. If you want to play early access you can support the studio. No one is forcing you to do anything.
