General Discussion - From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2? - Forum

No thanks. 3) Although currency orbs will not be abandoned, they will be significantly scarcer in POE 2. All gameplay footage highlights that. I think gold will play a far more important role than currency orbs in poe 2. It will be a Ruthless 2.0. I don't think divines or exalts will be used as overall currency but rather alchemy orbs. The power level of items will be significantly lower. 4) Slower flask refillment will hurt quite some players throughout the campaign. The game being slower I don't mind and I actually kinda like that but the above points make me wonder if I will really like POE 2. I will for sure play it a couple of times since the new Wraeclast locations look amazing and the story might be worthwile. i decided to stay in poe1 and 2 standard and play both im currently running guilds called holy loot mercs guild poe 1 or poe 2 at the end for each one! Never played PoE1, never will. I'm looking for something different in my ARPG's. I always hated PoE1 and D3 because of the pacing and visuals. I went D2 > LE > D4 > PoE2, and now I'm basically rotating between LE (more casual and free), and PoE2. I don't see this changing in the foreseeable future. They literally made every mechanic worse in there. Sanctum, Deli, Abyss, Beyond, Breach, Ritual, Ultimatum. I tried to play POE2 but shortly after I got to maps I lost all interest. The ascendancies are boring/lame. They nerf everything so you can't play builds you liked in the past and everybody is deadeye because of this. The loot isn't interesting, I don't want 3 different kinds of each orb either. Only divines tink when they drop. The atlas progression makes me cringe. The performance is insanely bad. The uniques aren't too interesting either. This game is years away. I just want to play POE1. PoE1 is for me 10x better game then PoE2. Only graphics are better in PoE2. PoE2 is also very unstable game, price for such huge maps and nice visuals is too high. I need only PoE1, updated graphics but reasonable. Also many things should be more casual like Last Epoch ( crafting ) PoE1 needs be simplified a bit. After trying and failing to enjoy PoE2 again with this patch (couldn't bring myself to even finish the campaign in either 0.2, or 0.3), I think I'll just wait until 1.0 to try again. Maybe then the game won't be miserable to play. The hardest enemy of the game really is your gear RNG. Oh I got only an "ok" weapon? Guess I'm doing 75% less damage than I'm supposed to. I wish they just focus on better style for looks instead of "better graphics" making your game need super computer will lose a lot of customers.
