It doesn't matter what GGG is saying, what matter is ToS, from ToS it's clear that you can't be ban for using Awakened poe trade alone. Players who claimed that they were banned 99% used something else on top (maphack/autoflask etc). And if you banned for Awakened poe trade alone, clearly it's a mistake and you can appeal and insta unban.

As a person who was 'reprimanded' by GGG number of times, you can tell me what matters when shit hits the fan and you get restricted access 'cus they said so' followed by 'further inquires related to this matter will not receive a reply'

TLDR, when i talk about an action, i talk about one server action, the one thing that GGG observes.
Outside of that your argument is tedious. why you ask?:

When you click on a key on your keyboard your computer automates not just one action, but many!
A scheduler sends an interrupt to the IO controller Oh noes!!!!! then your computer starts the interrupt service routine omg another "action". Then the ISR pushes shit on the STACK. Soooo many actions!!! and now it loads the mapped registers to your specified hardware. Oh god now it has loaded your keytroke, finally the action you yourself triggered. phew. and so on and so on.

the only "action" that counts is the server action. One user interaction for one Server action. not that hard to understand.
1. Ctrl +D User action
2. Program scan the item, builds the query for the API and sends it. (This step takes many subroutines and functions)
3. The api gets the query and return the result (one Server Action) (on server side this takes many subrountines and functions)

Concerning the "advantage": This is not defined in any way by GGG. But Experience teaches us, that purely using awakened poe Trade doesn't count as a bannable advantage. Is it an advantage? of course, you are faster and get information condensed and better readable. You play more efficent, but gameplaywise? nope
Only the logoutmacro which is not exclusive to awakened poe can be considered.

The fact that you have to officially authorize access via poe main site tells it all. Its OFFICIALLY logged in and does not use a session id that you have to manually fetch.

This means... tadaaa.... GGG not only knows about it but allows access to their api via the OFFICIAL authorization code.

Nobody is being banned for awakened. It is advertised on these very forums on a regular basis.
