PoE Overlay vs Awakened? Help a returning player!

Then you are being intentionally obtuse. It automates the process and gives it to you instantaneously with 1 click.

It's all been explained to you at length with irrefutable proof.

It's not hard to see.

It automates a lot of things, but nothing in-game. It only reads the clipboard, everything it automates, is outside of the game.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Which website, materials or services are being automated?

Calling an API via code is not automation, there's no other way to utilise an API. The overlay here is just basically functioning as a website - takes some input (in this case the clipboard data), sends it to an API, get the returned data & displays it in a readable format in the overlay. That's not an unfair advantage since all the information is returns is already publicly available.

LOL - keep telling yourself that.

/smh
Obtuse obfuscation it is then.

Oh no no no there is no automation here *closes curtains* I'm not saving any time by using this *waves hands and flourishes cape*, I just installed this 3rd party program to save me time querying item properties - it doesn't actually save me any time and nothing is automated *Cheshire smile*. Haha...maybe you just don't understand how APIs work *furrowed brow* you need to use automation that shouldn't be considered in any way to be automation, you see *nervous laughter*.

As others have said; you will not get banned for USING Awakened PoE, but you can get banned for ABUSING it, as it does offer some mechanics that can send a large amount of requests to the server. But regular use? You're safe.

During my convo about this with GGG they stated, very vaguely as its tradition, that any tool or overlay that gives 'unfair advantage' is against ToS.... seeing how widely this can be interpreted I prefer to be on the safe side.

You are so wrong stop spread this shit please!
It doesn't matter what GGG is saying, what matter is ToS, from ToS it's clear that you can't be ban for using Awakened poe trade alone. Players who claimed that they were banned 99% used something else on top (maphack/autoflask etc). And if you banned for Awakened poe trade alone, clearly it's a mistake and you can appeal and insta unban.

Unfair for some ppl is when they trying to made a rules out of nowhere and following them for a mysterious reason. If they like to play with only one hand fine, but don't let them tell you to how many hand you need to use LOL.

Most of them are against the ToS so I'd be careful with that.
