If you like messaging 30 people for a single trade, buy a supporter pack.

If you think that GGG opting for a system even defenders admit is not good is bad game design, don't buy supporter packs.



For me, trading is the #1 reason I quit leagues. Sitting in your hideout for 20 minutes messaging people when it could take 5 seconds with an automated system is the peak of bad, fear-based game design in my opinion.

Trade has been in need of improvements for a very long time. If this is the answer, only time will show, but it was about time they did something. I still firmly believe that when trading becomes (more or less) instant and asynchronous, it also needs more limiting than just gold. But, I have been wrong before (I remember on time back in '99), so it might turn out great. The most important part here is probably that they want to improve the experience.

And the thing they talked during livestream was not all about new way of selling/buying items. There is an addition to it:

Finally item browser will be integrated into game client.

And? Are we supposed to accept bots because they made the trading system better?

The current trade system sucks, it's infested with trading bots. If the new trading system works better but still has bots, I will keep complaining about the bots.

It would be really nice to have some price checking features like Awakened PoE Trade. Good thing is that this new trade system will make price fixing practically impossible.

You're joking, right? Price fixing in its current form will still exist to an extent for influencing prices. People will still need a reference for what to list things at.

But more importantly, a new form of price fixing will be created with bots buying up stock faster than any human can then re-listing at a higher price.
