Why PoE 2 will again not get a Auction house? (or trading system)

And why should I feel the need to benefit from it in the first place?

To stay on topic and not "hijack thread", same goes for trading system too. Unless you use 3rd party tools, is a tft goon, or keep 20+ browser live search tabs open, you won't benefit from current trade system

That's not true because you can look up for a desired item at any giving time and buy it without the need of any live search. Need a certain cluster for example or rare jewels? Something that's unlikely to craft due to low weightings and chances? Just go to trade and buy it. Need some fossils, essences or other crafting stuff for your desired crafting project? Just buy it without any required love search. Need a specific unique item that didn't drop yet? Just buy it on trade.

So if anything you always benefit out of the current trade in many ways even without any third party stuff or tons of live search tabs. hoho

That is true only for standard and only if you are willing to overspend x1.5-2 times more by settling on first guy who will actually answer your plea. I remember last time I tried playing temp league and found cold iron point dagger during early mapping. I never saw such wall of whispers in under 3 sec, lol. Good luck buying popular item without having live search primed, otherwise you'll have to wait until everyone else would have their fill.

In standard, live search is needed to try and snap a better price before someone else.

You need it because entire loot is based around it, and you know that. Should you decide to use some build-enabling unique which is very hard to drop normally (not even top tier like MB, HH, squire, mjolner, etc), trade is the only viable option.

You can do that whole league without any problems using trade site and game chat. You dont have to do anything you described there if you dont plan on being top 100. I want to use trade, not benefit from it much and i dont see any reason to make it easier. I would go the other way and limit trading even more and balance drop rates for more ssf oriented gameplay.
I'd love to play without trade and with more sensible lootrates instead. But SSF prevents playing with friends, which is too much. If you want to play solo, might as well play offline game, and mod it to your preferences, so you won't have to put up with signature death penalties/rippy blinky oneshots from GGG.

Example of how "Party Self Found" mode could have worked:

- When creating SSF character, you specify up to 5 names of other SSF characters, which you discuss with your friends beforehand. These names cannot be changed later, as well as your own character name.

- If owner of one of these 5 SSF characters also specifies your character's name, you will be able to party and trade with that character, but not with anyone else.

- If one of these characters will migrate to Standard or die in Hardcore, you still cannot select a replacement party member for your current character.

We have that it's called private leagues
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Honestly never even considered private leagues, I assume they will cost an arm and a leg and will be time-limited same as temp trade leagues.

I host a groupfound private league with buddies and buddies of buddies since Ritual league and it's always a blast. 10/10 especially if you split costs

Private leagues are not balanced around small parties. The drop rate is adjusted around thousands and thousands ppl.
