Why PoE 2 will again not get a Auction house? (or trading system)

It's a completely ridiculous system the way it is right now IMO. To the point where it's basically uncool. I personally have yet to see a valid argument refuting that. The argument about price fixing and stuff like that IMO is invalid.

An argument you don't agree with is not an invalid argument.

If you don't want to bother with multiple trades, there's a way. Bulk-sell. Bulk-buy. Don't use sextants. Here you go. You can play the game without bother.

I don't like constant trades. I farm Harvest, Essences, Blight, Altars, these kind of things. Whatever you get you can sell in large amounts. You play for a few hours, you list your Essences for 40-50C at a time or even sell the tab on TFT. You list your currency for 40C-1div at a time. Whenever you get a real valuable drop, you list it for 10% under the market price and you enjoy the thirty trade request within two minutes.

What do you need to juice maps? Scarabs. Just buy 40 at a time. List only people with at least 40 stock and buy in bulk. Here you go. You just have to shop every 10 maps.

You want to buy instantly? Just scroll down two pages. You'll get instant responses.

Want to buy divines? Don't even use the trade site. List chaos for 1/200div and wait for the 30+ messages that come in instantly after a minute.

You might lose some efficiency, sure, but losing 5-10% profit and not having to lose time on trade is great.

Sure, there's some pain points. Not being able to trade while in a lab is a problem, for example. Sextants are a pain to buy, since they only last four maps and you can use four (so you have to buy one per map). But mostly, the trading system works.

I already bulk-sell and bulk-buy, I mean you basically have to using TFT discord these days (which comes with decent drawbacks as well). I know to scroll down 2 pages as well, lmao, not sure why you're trying to recomend me these beginner tips here as a point to not have AH. It is still tedious as ****.

Me not agreeing with your arguments don't necessarily make them invalid, they can be invalid for other reasons.

But also realize that you bringing some arguments, don't also make them valid because you're bringing them.

And the crazy thing though, is that not being able to trade while being a lab is actually NOT that much of a problem. Considering the so little amount of time people do actually spend in a lab in itself. So yeah, no, I don't think anything you brought is amazingly relevent so far in this post.

This is the key in every trade-related discussion.

Trading needs some kind of 'cost'. GGG have chosen a free, open market where you can trade as much as you like - as often as you like, at the cost of some time, knowledge and uncertainty, because the seller is free to ignore you.

If they made trading faster, easier and remove all forms of knowledge requirements, they'd have to introduce another form of cost. This could be limits on how often you could trade, how much you could trade or a straight up fee for selling an item. All of these 'costs' could work, but if people are thinking they would be welcomed by the majority, I think they'd be wrong.

Anyhow, personally I don't care what they do, as long as they keep the requirement of being online to trade, both buy and sell. But I do believe they have to do something.

Not sure why you think making trading easier would actually remove any knowledge requirement. That seems actually false.

Separately, the way trading works right now with people being allowed to not respond, is kinda crap design actually, since it practice what it does is people list something for sale, implying that it can be bought, yet VERY often, don't actually respond to whispers because of such of an inconvenience it is, basically leading to bad manners.

It is completely ridiculous system.

I agree.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

@DeepAlchemist
For me, micromanagement is a method and complemental.
What are your incentives to trade ?

Trading is important because it makes me feel that I am a part of community.
I try to not ignore community members because there are always reasons and consequences beyond my comprehension. (It's about self-determination so your incentives are important for me.)

As a result, my incentive to trade in this league was to learn the viability of the Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder build.
I bought the unique helm after a few fights against Catarina, Master of the Dead around lv90 iirc. I needed to shrink my passive tree to free up passive points for further adjustments. (everything else beside the helm is self-found/craft.)

i hope this game will get well
Allow to expose through your single AH premium tab, accessible through interaction in your hideout when you’re online.

There is a reasonable amount of AH slots for currency/crafting materials.

There is only 1/2/3 AH slots for items.

Everything else works as it is now.

We don't needs bots or drop rate nerfs (again) here. This game is not about playing the market or bot house. At this moment everything is ok, not the perfect, but acceptable.

If it were ok, then I wouldn't always have the same player buying certain mats FOR WEEKS... I seriously wonder if more than 50 people play the game at the same time...
and I can hardly find any items on the website or there are any fake entries that were made a year ago.

But there is even no information about the cause of death in the game and only some ridiculous excuses instead. that says it all.

Well that's the cost of playing in standard, hence most players spend their time in a fresh league with a fresh economy and plenty of players to trade with just to fully enjoy the game cause it's unfortunately all balanced around trading.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Dude, you're playing Standard - the graveyard of all builds including Hardcore, mechanics, currency, legacy items, gems etc. What do you expect from not very populated game mode? I suppose you never tried to play SSF (SC or HC) in any way?
