Btw we've previously mentioned that there is a Path of Exile 1 expansion launching a few weeks after ExileCon and a lot of people are speculating that it's secretly the start of the Path of Exile 2 beta. Just wanted to clarify that that's not the case.

ExileCon is the jumping-off point for Path of Exile 2's marketing. We'll also be showing it at Gamescom and PAX West with playable demos, so its beta is still a while out. You'll find out all the dates at ExileCon in July.

i dont know why so many ppl thought poe 2 will come later this year. i still say it will come in late 2024 early 2025.

People were hoping that a company which has been actively developing the game for 5+ years and decided to crank people up with their big fancy ExileCon splash would not then wait an additional thirty-seven centuries to actually deliver the product.

Oddly enough, some people are quite eagerly anticipating the redux and are increasingly fed up with the constant delays and years of radio silence. Hell, I was done with the game for multiple leagues now and only came back because the teasers got me excited about the possibility of Path 2 coming out before the turn of the next millennium.

Pardon me if I'm a little upset at the notion that the redux is ANOTHER FIVE GOD DAMN YEARS OUT.

will they at least stop extending leagues to 4 months after exilecon? this is the third league that goes for nearly 4 months

Well that sucks.

So Exilecon 2023 will be more or less the same as Exilecon 2019? "Here, have a look at PoE 2, but you'll have to wait". I think it's a good thing, for them, that the tickets are sold before that post. I just don't get it, but I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.
