What Happened with Items
Philosophy One: Reward mechanisms should scale properly with Item Quantity and Rarity bonuses
That's why the reward conversion system that higher-tier Archnemesis monsters have is so powerful. Any bonuses you have from additional difficulty will affect the rewards that the rare monster drops. Additional item quantity causes them to drop more items that are converted, and additional item rarity causes those items to upgrade, which also affects the converted one. Most of the player base HATE archnemesis. so now the loot in the game has to be balanced around some bullshit rare to find archnemesis modifier to find some sort of valuable loot. This game design is crazy man… not only that but now we have to stack quant and rarity and duplicate currency rewards and pray that rares… that are already extremely rare to find just magically pop into the map and rain rewards. You have 6 portals so maybe…. You can kill it. Maybe. But you need the quant, and the rarity… and the duplicate currency and so many other things to make it work. The design is simply broken. Is this really the mechanic that a good game is based on. I don’t think so. Philosophy Two: Players should fight fewer Rare Monsters at once, but they should be more challenging and rewarding Maps are so empty, the consistent rewards have been remove and now you get a map boss that makes it rain or a 1/1000 maps chance to find a archnemesis modifier combination that makes it rain. It’s terrible. It feels just super bad. I can’t explain how the life in the map, the excitement has just been abolished. Philosophy Three: There shouldn't be a large gap between the difficulty and rewards of league content and base game content. I agree. But the rewards shouldn’t be completely gated behind archnemesis mods. Look at it like this: Archnemesis (we don’t really like it) Other leagues - we all have our hated and liked but they’re all pretty much equally as rewarding. Now…. Nothing feels rewarding and the only thing that feels rewarding is the thing we all don’t really like that much. Honestly, it’s your game we definitely shouldn’t be telling you how to design it. But these recent change and design philosophies sound like a mad scientist experimenting and tinkering in the garage looking some an answer to a problem he doesn’t have. |

And now they think they fixed it. When no one runs lakes anymore. Guess why? You can run some and see for yourself. Not from words. Leaguecontent also have ZERO adding on maps. I keep those from like very start. Waiting for it to be worth to run. And sometimes checking if there changes. Bu rulling one-two lakes. So far - NOT worth. Still League. Chris! Run some for yourself and see what we are talking about! Ang for gors sake, remove archnemesis from any leaguecontent. AN intoxicated and infested PoE. Delve, Incursion, Breach, Ritual.. all now bricked by AN mods. You must play to see, why. And how. |

the last league was already an unpleasant wake-up call, when archnemesis was left at the core of the game. People were hurting, people were hurting, but you decided to go ahead and completely ruin the game. what league in a row will have to leave the mechanics of the league and go to the usual places of resource extraction, where you have not yet launched your hands. so spoil, once awesome game - you need to be able to. I have no idea what drives you, but this is very stupid and not far-sighted of you. expectations from the league were great, but they did not justify themselves at all. roll the game back two leagues and maybe people will come back. admit it - you screwed up!

I'm afraid your explanations do not matter anymore. You've shown that trust into your manifestos and patch notes is entirely misplaced and that we have to expect stealth nerfs to everything we might enjoy.
Ad Hoc explanations don't matter, especially if you ignore crafting and completely avoid to explain why you removed the most essential crafts from harvest without mentioning it.
