What Happened with Items

Yeah I sure love that the entire game now revolves around using 3rd party tooling to scan for certain AN mobs because nothing else drops any loot. Great design, lads.

Quitters and haters are being edgy at this point. Intentions are good on Chris' part, eventually the game will be perfect with this route. So stop nagging already we try to enjoy a game here. I personally liked the league very much and find the item drops acceptable so far comparing past leagues. Dont actually care much about top juicers have less drops to be honest. It was redicilous before.

I would recommend your staff to take a closer look on how these people are making such amounts of currency by drops, in case third party illegal tools are being used. Also regarding Harvest, why did you remove reforge keeps, reforge much more likely, jewel implicits, and socket colors. What is the point of all this?

Many crafts still required many harvest tries + several other non-deterministic steps, such as elevating mods, awakener orb two bases, blocking mods + ex slamming, using aisling and blocking again, etc. Harvest was in a very good balance in terms of power, but along with solving the itemization problem you created a bigger one, which is that very few people are crafing stuff now. Many great players ended up swithing from SSF or HC SSF to trade league this patch because of that change alone.



This. i just hope Bex or someone there is able to bring some of the streamer analytical criticism videos into the war table meeting and get some serious eyes on the true fundamentals of the problems so we can either get clear and explicit information for once that we desperately deserve to move forward, or there can be wool pulled off the eyes and some serious investigation into just how bad things actually are at every level. cause it's just way worse in the totality of ALL the sweeping changes in every aspect of the game than anything. id have been fine if it was super easy to build defenses in this league. or craft early starting gear. or just far currencies. or just level up........ but nothing feels like it is. it all just feels oppressive and the collective sum is rough.

in a macro view though i know they will have a better future somehow, i just don't think 3 months will be enough, maybe not even a year until we get a poe 2 beta. i just think I've lost hope and more importantly lost faith. it sucks to see something you care about to die so completely in the course of just 1 patch. i never thought the darkest timeline would exist but here we are

LOOT:
Loot from maps is almost acceptable now, but it is nowhere near the golden alch-and-go gameplay from recent leagues, where it felt like you could spend your atlas passive points on any content you liked, and you where fairly compensated in loot for engaging with said content.

If you are paying for scarabs/map mods/sextants to add Abyss/Breach/Alva/Delirium/Harbinger to your map right now, you are most likely losing currency and not gaining it.

You seem to be hunting this elusive currency-conversion mod on a AN monster, and you don't have a lot of influence on when they spawn or how. Just add as many rare monsters you can and prey.

All other AN conversion mods are meh-to-insulting for the difficulty they add (see Armour Scraps/Flasks). Right now the most efficient gameplay is to skip everything and just hunt for the currency-conversion. Is this intended?

If you are not hunting this elusive AN monster, then you are clining to the league mechancics that give static rewards (Expedition/Heist/Legion/Ritual). The list is short, and the gameplay becomes extremely repetitive.

CRAFTING:
Endgame crafting have been turned upside down since the removal of "reforge keep prefix/suffix".

It was unsulting it was not mentioned in the manifesto/patchnotes, and apparently went under the umbrella of "filler crafts" in the announcement. It was not mentioned anywhere in these damage-control posts/patches.

Right now there is no way to salvage anything when a craft hits 6 mods where several are unwanted. It is just bricked and you go back to square 1.

Do you plan to remove Eldritch Orb of Annulment also, since it provides a similar effect?

Was this intended? If so, please address this and tell us the vision for crafting, because right now it feels abyssmal, and the same conspiracy theories and memes that plagued the loot-discussion are rampant.

If this is not the intention, please give us a way to remove one or all of either prefixes or suffixes. It does not matter where in the game this mehcanic is, or how hard it is to achieve.

This removal has driven any desire to farm currency from many players, as there is no way to "spend" it to craft an item you like anymore. There is no goal.

All you can do is spend it to pull gambling levers and hope something useful pops out. This is not something that makes people want to keep grinding. This was an entire endgame content category unceremoniously removed.
