Elden Ring is PoE Killer

The days of me paying $100 for a new title are long gone.
We tested it extensively

It wouldn't surprise me if people post very similar threads about other games on their own respective forums.

So what you're trying to say, is that Lost Ark and Elden Ring will kill every game out there? Damn, that's rough.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

Its just a good game.
What game did Dark Souls kill?

Its just a good game... there are many of those... they coexist... its fine.
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

It's looking like an everything killer at this point...

95 on PC Metacritic right now. $60 bucks though.

Should I buy the $30 Kirac Vault Pass or Elden Ring?
8 mod maps are the new alch and go.

Opportunity cost. Now Pick and choose. You can play only one game at a time unless it is a mobile game...
Updated the edit. Let's see how many 'PoE Killers' we can come up with ppl! :p

Also, Honda Accord Master Race!! \o/

Today is Sid Meier's birthday so I pick Civ VII as the next POE killer!

Semi serious question, can anyone really thing of a game that killed another game?

Really good games seem to raise interest in similar games, not kill them.

Im going off topic but just wondering.
I'll just leave this here...

However, unlike LA, it seems like ER can actually be run with Wine (Proton), so once they sort out the performance issues, I really am tempted to give it a try.

A successful and popular game cannibalize players from similar less affluent or inferior games. Online games are usually shutdown by their publisher due to low population count and poor profitability. A long and slow process rather than like an instant kill.
