Game Balance in Path of Exile: Expedition
Can we get a casual league? Like a literal easier league to play around instead of hardcore or normal?
I'd love a 10x xp, 20x better rares, 50% reduced mob density, Boss Hp is the same or 20% reduced Honestly i would preffer to play your game leaving your precious identity alone with the no lifers instead of suffer the game you people seen hellbent on making Last edited by Gouresdo1 on Jul 20, 2021, 4:59:16 AM

GGG After 3.15, "Expedition league had lower player retention than Ultimatum league because it was too rewarding"

" But then later on: " Losing 20% attack and cast speed from Awakened GMP is a massive nerf. Projectile damage is useless. | |
" Where are they? All the changes are fine. I really wouldn't like you to slow down because I like it super fast, that's where the fun is for me. BUT, the changes are fine, slowing down is fine. THE PROBLEM IS you're nerfing everyone, supposedly increasing build variety by supposedly bringing everything down to the level of bad builds, while NOT NERFING THE STUFF THAT FORCES US TO PLAY SUPER FAST glass canon builds! How many times have I seen advice to new players being "just kill before you get killed"? If the top builds are supposed to have 40% less DPS how is 100% delirium juiced maps supposed to be playable? Maven? Hidden? Or is it not supposed to be playable? (Except by streamers who play for their life). Wanna slow us down? SURE, go for it. Just need to also slow down the one shot mechanics stuff that was made out of proportion to counter the fast meta. And to FIX the loot drops to compensate the slower pace (gonna feel really bad if the best farming strategies we can come up with yield 2ex/hour) And no, please, nobody likes phased bosses or ones that take artificially long to kill for no reason. |

" I fully agree with this post. Being a player that can only spend a few hours a week and has a 'good league' if I reach maps, I haven't been anywhere close to most endgame content. All changes are done because of the few players/streamers spending hours analyzing everything, trying everything, planning everything, calculating everything and finding the 'flaws' in your new gems/skills/buffs. Instead, can we please have statistics on what percentage of the player base have reached Shaper/Sirius/Maven/Breack lords/etc. And what percentage have actually killed them? The rework of flask seems like a good one, but 'making the game harder', while for beginners and players without precise knowledge of how to upgrade their character the game already is very hard. For the past leagues, I've stopped spending money, because all changes GGG has done is to please the streamers. " All recent leagues are about maximizing clear speed. Getting currency to buy or craft items is all about clearspeed. So you've pushed players into maximizing damage bonuses. Otherwise you should rethink the leagues you're making, as expedition is again about clearspeed. Even with all the buffs, players are still going for maximum clearspeed. And if you forgot to nerf one gem, you can bet streamers will find it. But why punish casual players for that? Want to help casuals? Do something about trade! Especially in Standard. From simple things like auto-disabling public tabs when a league ends to making a more automated trade. No more money from me to GGG until they improve trade!

" If noone plays your game anymore you have a 100% player retention every league. Great success! Last edited by borefficz on Jul 20, 2021, 5:05:34 AM

Sad day for PoE. I do agree with many things being done but destroying Elementalist is very strange.....
