Development Manifesto: Harvest Crafting

To be honest, this is really interesting to see who will win whether

The people who spend money and come back only for harvest
OR
The group of people who made the statement "Why would I use a regular Exalted/Divine/Annul Orb when I can get one through Harvest that has a deterministic result?" + "We don't want to take away the feeling of closing your eyes and Exalting an item, scared to see whether you ruined it or not." and somehow convince GGG to remove the most important part of harvest.

I just wondering why do they have to waste time to introduce new leagues or create new mechanics if people only play harvest to get to the end game. Unless MAYBE there is a league or way that is better than harvest.

Anyway, GGG got the balls to introduced new mtx to test the sales. Just a F2P standard pleb ignore me if you must.
When's the second manifesto?
why some physical modifiers don't have a physical tag. forgot to add it. why do I have to search for all these tags in some obscure database and why do some prefixes block some suffixes. GGG is in no hurry to fix this
Its funny with all these statements for a FREE to play game!

Its like one walk along the street among the hundreds of restaurants which one has a choice to eat in. Then one walks in and complain that the chair does not suit them, the decor is ugly, the plates not the right color, the smell stinks and want the owner to change all those for them before they decide to pay for their meal. Mind you that restaurant opened years ago and has served millions before the diner.

The owner has the right to decide on their own business and if the diner is not happy, he is free to visit the next restaurant. Why threaten, abuse, harass and scream at the owner of the restaurant if it does not suit your taste? Feel free to drop a polite request of your opinion. That is just normal courtesy for a free meal.

Before the manifesto I had a plans to upgrade boots, min-max res, etc. Now I won't even login to the game despite that Harvest crafting still there. If changes will be applied, it's time to uninstall for sure.
Instead of removing the good crafts, You could make it cost valuable currency, depending on the type of craft. Also make those craft more rare.

For example:
Add specific mod = 15 Exalted orbs to use the craft.
Remove specific mod = 30 Annulment orbs to use
Remove non-specific, add specific = 5 Annulment and 5 Exalted orbs to use
Remove specific, add specific = 20 Annulment and 10 Exalted orbs to use

Also make those craft either more convenient to trade, without having to risk scamming, or opposite - not tradeable at all (I am sure it could be figured out somehow)

Another step is to remove harvest passives so players wont be forced to farm maps only in one region.

This could work much better imo than removing it from game - now a lot of players already crafted their gg items and those that did not yet because they were unlucky or/and SSF league will not be able to catch up ever.

the numbers on your example are just as bad as the nerf, or deleting harvest completely.. i know it's just an example.

you must have seen how ggg thinks now, right?

because people are funneling crafts through discord... harvest got nerfed!
instead of doing something about the discord issue........they only made it worse!

with your numbers, it would still be the top 0.1% only making use of it.... and even worse, only the 0.1% would be able to afford those crafts.. which is exactly what people are also angry about!

remove - 1 annulment orb
add - 1 exalted orb
rem/add- 1 annul + 1 exalt

^this is already hard enough to get for 99% of the playerbase

This just makes me sad. After 4,000 hours of playing being able to craft gear I actually wanted using harvest, without grinding for 3 months straight was the most rewarding part of the gameplay so far.

I would like to see harvest as is, left in for solo self found.

If you really want to protect the 1% players and mirror tier items from harvest don't let harvest roll tier 1 mods problem solved. The casuals get to craft great gear and the mirror items stay mirror tier.

Yea, it is a lot, but I see it as similar approach as for example spending 1500 fusings to link item insead of gambling them one-by-one.

It should definately cost more than one ex/annul (okay, I agree that 30 is too much, maybe 5 is more realistic - that would still allow you to craft the item much faster and more realiably than using the corresponding anmount of Ex/Ann.)
