Development Manifesto: Harvest Crafting
Hi GGG,
This is my first post in the response to your changes in the future. Please keep this Harvest system so a casual player like me can still afford some funny build. The game economic system rest at each league. most of the time I want a build that can reach the end-game content like legion boss encounter. Harvest makes it easier for a casual player can get their hands to certain high-end builds without put too much time into farming currency. Please don't change the harvest system. |

Felt abs amazing to build my custom MOM skele mage agnostic and take it to lvl 100, thanks to harvest, alot of playing crafting and planning
First 36 First lvl 100 this league hooked me I understand harvest may be too powerfull as it is but really the feeling you can finally take youre custom crap to work is amazing Again that wasn't EZ and took alot of effort (like a lot) I like variety in this game but I also want a somewhat effective/nice chara to play if I try all league to improve it as we all know trying to be creative prior to harvest will almost end-up in a crappy chara you will not able to work with after 95 (if u good) - while you spent a lot on (slamming around I guess) There is so much variety in the game but here we go building around the same broken meta mecanics because it's the only way around late game at a decent EX mark The variety for possibility IG is out of this world and so meaningless at the same time Like you have 12 000 pizzas on the menu but only 6 are good and affordable (i take a carrion golem without onions tyvm) Last edited by Promaore#5998 on Mar 11, 2021, 1:17:54 PM

No one uses non-influenced items these days (except for uniques) Guess we'll have to see if it's still going to be somewhat useful. |

Seems like the Discord issue is still unaddressed even though it is the biggest complaint about Harvest from a player standpoint.

This change is silly at best. by the time a 'casual' player has enough currency to purchase lets say a 50 exalt item...the league is over.
The current crafting mechanic makes it SEMI doable to solo craft. (only 10 slots to store crafts) If you make these changes as planned, you have to make unlimited craft storage. |

" What he said makes a lot of sense. Harvest crafting has gone beserk this league because people sell their crafts from stations. If you cannot sell your crafts anymore but would have to use them yourself it should solve every problem. People can still make their items great but for personal use only. Not being able to sell harvest crafted items would be fair. You could still play the game with YOUR items on YOUR build. You just arent gonna make a speed farmer, run 5000maps and sell crafts all day printing mirrors. |

" Most of the people I know who played this league were most excited about the Maven because of the harvest crafting options she offered anyway. I was definitely excited about the possibility of her coming to core for that same reason, mainly. And while seed obtaining was a pain before, it was nice to be able to set up a plot of vivid thornweavers with some blossoms, and actually get some decent speed crafts for my time, effort (and exalts), rather than endlessly farming for nothing. I also agree that the simplicity of current harvest crafting is nice, but these new changes will break it, rendering it completely worthless for players like me.
