@Andy thanks for confirming that. For now I put a life flask with bleed removal at my first (panic) position. BTW is there a place where it lists all the new modifiers? The names got all changed and doesn't seem consistent to me, and I dont have bleed removal at Einhar altar...

Another hobo tip - since whispers of doom is so expensive, change that second curse into culling strike, so reckoning can knock the heads of near dead bosses.

Usually around this time is when I get bored and start shopping for an alt, but this league's mechanic (which to be honest isn't that engaging) is so rippy I think my other standard alts (totems) will get boned hard. Sticking with this build for now, trying to save up for better stuff.

Here are the craftable ones with Bestiary:

Here is a nice cheat sheet that talks about the flasks in general and all the various tiers.

Oh thank you! Saving this to my desktop!

Edit: Are the different tiers of utility just # max charges? Why the different names for utility.. This redesign could have been done better...

Edit2: Nvm, looked at a bit more, a little more clear, still dont like all the animal names to confuse things (and I love animal names)...

As a reminder to use panicked life flasks. With us being low life, it's instant life refill.

I think some mix of charges and duration. It is confusing to be honest. See here for all the patch notes on Flasks

I tested it, and yes! It does reproc!

ok then. This makes Arcane Heroism a slam dunk choice once the medium clusters are in place.

Not only consistently more damage against bosses, also more consistent mana regen in long fights as you mentioned in game to me!

Nice addition to the build!

I love that the build is still slowly improving.

Have you attempted any of the uber content yet? I am interested to see how the build does in the waves 20-30 of simulacrum.

I tried it just for you ^^
I finished up to Wave 25 very smoothly, but Wave 26 Kosis got me.
I could tank some stuff but he has some DoT's that can hurt.

The thing I failed at most however at that point was damage.
Kosis seemed VERY tanky, and had an ability that instantly brought his ES back to 100% and he loves to use it frequently ^^

Ah well, lesson learned.

I have to say that rewards from Wave 21 to 25 were nice, a noticable increase in drops.

Thanks for testing!!! Wave 25 is quite impressive!!
I was thinking about how lucky we are this league financially.

Not only did the new tree (and gem improvements) give us back all the damage we lost in the great nerf of 3.15, the build is just as tanky as ever and it is FAR cheaper than ever before.

Look at some of the savings compared to last league:

Belt in 3.15: 15ex
Belt in 3.16: 70c

+1 Corrupted Skin of the Loyal in 3.15: 10ex+
Skin of the Lords in 3.16: 60c

Enlighten 4 in 3.15: 9-10ex
Enlighten 4 in 3.16: not needed

Blue Nightmare in 3.15: 1.5ex
Blue Nightmare in 3.16: not needed

Unnatural Instinct in 3.15: 7ex
Very good, 4 mod rare jewel in 3.16: 2ex

Sure, if you could point me where I am doing smth wrong, that would be most helpful. Im fairly new to the game, so I assume I might miss some vital nfo.

Here's the current state of my char:

hello!

Your config was pretty good. You were only missing two items that I saw.

1) In the Custom Modifiers box at the bottom, copy these two lines into it:
10% More Spell Damage (Arcane Surge)
30% Increased Mana Regeneration Rate (Arcane Surge)

This will turn on your Arcane Surge (POB does not recognize Arcane Surge from Arcane Adept cluster jewel so this config covers that)

2) Exposure Type needs to be set to Fire in the Skill Options section

When adding just those two, your DPS grows by almost 50%.

As for damage scaling, these will all spike your damage significantly more

a) Empower 4
b) Awakened Ele Focus (level 5)
c) Awakened Controlled Destruction (level 5) (set Unnerve in your Config when you get this)
d) Skin of the Lords
e) Whispers of Doom (2 curses)
f) The Damage Flasks (examples are Wise Oak, Bottled Faith, Cinderswallow, Atziri's Promise etc) Use as many as you can and still feel safe

Oh yeah, exposure really added up in terms of damage, and by adding all the quality, corruption upgrades, empower etc, I managed to reach 6.5 pob dps.

I got everything I have with less then 2ex budget (managet to get medium jewel for 10c omg), and now everything costs at least 10ex to upgrade, so Ill be stuck for a while with my extra slow progression.

Also considerng the newer notable upgrade, I saw a Megalommaniac with just the 3 notables from the Large one we are using.
With that in mind, I was thinking maybe Ill be abble to figure out a similarly profitable large jewel to fit everything. Tests await :D

I ran my very first fully baked Tier 10 Scourged map.

I got enough loot out of it to significantly improve my character. Well worth the wait to bake the map for so long.

The two big things I did was:

1) Get a perfectly rolled belt (still need to add some quality to it)

2) Raised my chaos res from -52% to +42% (this is going to feel good in hunter maps which were obviously annoying with no chaos res)

More damage, more survivability. Lets go!!!

:)

fully baked as in baked 10 times?! a T10 map?

Holy cow, I already feel impatient to cook a T1 map once... :P

Some content creators say it's better to cook low tier maps for the time/profit ratio, so I've been cooking T1 maps.
