yes that is how it is supposed to work. You block, reckoning triggers, it hextouches the curses onto the mobs.

To test just dont attack and stand in a group of mobs, you should see the curse icons over their heads.

Btw my POB tells me the enchant Ash, Frost and Storm is a 7% DPS enchant. 2 crimson (about 3-4C each) and a Sepia oil. Substitute before you can buy whisper of doom, which is only a 10.4% dps increase for me. Hobo shopping! :D

Nope, it's amber, teal and golden (according to PoB)

Decided to replace change 1 node on the large cluster jewel.

Since this build doesn't need the spell block chance from the Mage Hunter node anymore and the uptime of the Power Charges seem questionable, I went with Arcane Heroism:




The full jewel:


The advantage of this is that it actually gives slightly better dmg then Mage Hunter, while also making it much easier to sustain Arcane Surge on bosses.

On the offchance that the Power Charges were up though, it was ofcourse slightly easier to keep up Elemental Overload, but that, for me, doesn't seem to make any difference.
The choice is yours ^^
