Trying to six link my bow has been a nightmare. Playing bow bleed glad until I can six link it, but the league will probably end by then. :/

I have imported your character into POB. You are doing 260k per ball without flasks up. With just Bottled Faith used, your damage spikes to 350k per ball. Your setup is doing a lot of damage with another upgrade to go - a double damage mod Circle of Anguish Ring which will boost your damage even further.

Hello, just changed to this build and I'm really enjoying it so far (first bow build ever).

I'm finding that my boss damage seems to be lacking, could you look at my character and let me know if I'm missing anything or what I could upgrade to improve my dps? (still working on getting frenzy craft for quiver)

Yeah bow bleed Glad is awesome. Very fun pops and the new Delirium unique helmet, Assailum is big damage if you can make it work.

We are roughly 1 month+ into the league, still a way to go. Not sure about the xBox realm timelines but most leagues last 3 months in. I wait til I have 300-500 fusings and spend some time next to the false idols, Kuduku and Kadaka to try to 6 link an item ^^

Here is the estimated damage - 300k per ball unbuffed and 330k with your Wise Oak up. I am not sure about the Atziri's promise flask as we do 0 chaos damage due to Avatar of Fire from Xoph's Blood. Perhaps changing it to a different damage flask like Cinderswallow Urn/Sulphur flask would be a good damage boost.

Be aware that once again, the damage numbers do not take into account the Assassin ascendancy notable, Opportunistic which states that we do 25% MORE damage when there is one Rare or unique enemy nearby.

Here is your POB. You are doing 200k per ball unbuffed and 320k after flask buffs. The huge jump in numbers is most likely due to your crit chance. The more you raise it the more consistent damage you will output. Your 2 normal jewels only provide attack speed, life, and one has a crit chance roll on it. Try to prioritise crit chance and crit multi as the primary mods to go for. Your gem levels are also not maxed out and you will see bigger numbers once it is fully levelled.

Again, the Assassin ascendancy, Opportunistic is not taken into account so the damage would be 25% MORE if there is a rare or unique enemy nearby.

Nice. A few things to focus on with defense would be grabbing chaos resistance in your gear be it in small chunks in different pieces here and there or through a big chunk from one gear. Another thing is to max your pantheons as it will bring you closer to the dodge limit.

Another big issue is your flasks. The granite flask is not useful for the build because we take the Acrobatics node. This node makes it so that we have 50% less armour. A good substitute would be a Basalt flask/Stibnite flask/Quartz flask. Make sure you use a beastcraft in the menagerie to craft the mod that makes you immune to freeze or curse respectively on the different flasks. One flask should be 'Of heat' to make you freeze and chill immune. The other flask should be 'Of warding' to make you curse immune.

Blood of the Karui is a good unique flask but a simple Seething Divine Life flask of Staunching would be much better in my opinion. The flask would make you immune to bleeding, give you instant life recovery when you are in a panicked situation, and tops you off over time as well when you need it. The Karui flask only has 2 charges and the effects disappear after you reach full life so there is minimal uptime on the flask.

The Sin's Rebirth flask does nothing for the build except for the evasion because we do not gain any benefit from Unholy Might. The reason is because we have the keystone called Avatar of Fire through the amulet, Xoph's Blood. Avatar of Fire makes us do only fire damage so other types of damage do not apply.

The other suggestion would be to grab a more defensive annointment on the amulet as opposed to King of the Hill at the moment if you are still underlevelled or adjusting to the playstyle. Any of the health annointments would be good.

TLDR - Freeze and bleed are very potent source of death for most characters. Improve flasks and grab ailment immunities through flask crafts.



Holy shit dude thanks for the great explanation. I respec'd to this build from a pestilent strike one (super tanky super fast killing, but not great clear speed) and so was still changing up the gear and playstyle though I didn't think it would be that important.

I see that I've only have 47k DPS while you have over 200K with flasks removed. Would you mind helping me see what is missing? I can't figure it out as I've gotten most of the offensive items you suggested except 3 rare jewels.

You are doing 220k per ball unbuffed after I maxed out your gem levels. Just focus on levelling your gems. Your build is progressing nicely. Note that you may have to reallocate a different Thread of Hope and reassign the points from the jewel every time you load POB as it might get bugged out after importing.

After I played around with the POB, the DPS is validated with your statement. I enjoying it so far. BTW, the defensive Timeless Jewel thing, even with my 94% chaos resist, is not that great!


Even with 94% chaos resist, the maximum cap is 90% so anything above that is not taken into account. In addition, make sure your maximum cap is raised to 90% through either Cult of Chaos node, Born of Chaos cluster jewel, Hunter quiver mod, and the Timeless Jewel keystone itself grants 10%. If that is already the case, you should be able to compare the setup before and after speccing into Divine Flesh as the damage taken is usually noticeable. This is a big defensive boost for elemental and chaos damage taken. This setup is really effective if your maximum elemental resistances are only at 75%.

The build is still weak to physical damage as mentioned in the guide. One way to circumvent this is to grab the Steelskin gives additional 12% physical damage reduction enchantment or other defensive enchantments on the helmet.
