Yeah the gem level thing sounds reasonable. I bought a 20/20 Freezing Pulse gem and Hideout dps went from 27,2k to 38,1k at lvl 72 right now. I watched your Baran Kill on day 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAhRC77Coc4&t=198s&ab_channel=Wallach) and holy, your damage is on an other level.. i really don't get it |

" Update: I managed to get an enchant on viridis, at least a 20/23 FP, first awaken gem and a significant better magic ring (lucky alt spam+divine for perfect T1 Life roll) as well as some quality on it. Besides that, I alt spammed my clusters too and they should be much better now. unfortunately my 3 note big cluster has the worst constellation possible, wasting some points. Now I have to get 8 more dex from equipment to save a skill point, finish quality on ring and get a better quicksilver. 3/4 of the way to 95 is done too. But I still have only 90k Hideout DPS. Maybe I need better wands? I did not find any so far in xbox trade market xD. In addition, i only have 2.3k mana. An I really run out of mana quite often. Therefore I use a hybrid flask, but I definitely need some more Mana. I have 4k Life now. if I do the math, I need at least 2.8-3k mana. Not sure how to manage that actually. " Endgame content becomes really trivial once you farm lesser content and get awakened controlled destruction/awakened added cold dmg (at least level 4). I farmed Heist for some pickup currencies, and a big part of it was I sold my storm brand hiero gear but that aside, heist, delving and awakener farming early can be profitable. Towards 24 challenges mark I was at level 92 and messing around with shaper runs, if you know the fight I could recommend some mind-numbing shaper farming so you can resell his guaranteed fragment drops, you will always profit if you buy the guardian fragments then fight and kill shaper. There's plenty of other ways you can go about farming but that's what I did to get a head start for my awakened gem upgrades, it's never too late. |

Thank you so much for the guide! First time playing a full league and managed to get to 36 challenges with this as a mid-end league build. I started the league with a TR Raider but am planning to start with this one on the next. Hopefully not much changes will happen next league. I will also definitely check out your updates for 3.15 first once the patch notes come out. Thank you, Wallach!

This is a fun build, and I'm enjoying messing around with it. Looking at high level version of it on poe ninja, it looks like people are using Vaal Haste as the fourth link in the boots. I picked one up and use the Vaal ability for a DPS boost on bosses or Ultimatums. I was wondering if it ever makes sense to activate the regular Haste aura? It seems like losing half of the mana pool is too big a hit to survivability, but maybe it's good with a bigger mana and health pool?

No, 40% MoM and significant investment in mana and mana regen a 50% aura is a terrible idea. That's well over 1k EHP.
If you really wanted to speed run easy maps, haste in an essence worm might be reasonable. Lose damage, gain move speed. Otherwise that is vaal haste for a dps cooldown. |
