That was really bugging me as this is my first ED build and could not for the life of me figure out on why it was low level lol! Anywho, The only issue I had so far is Drox on Ilvl 83 map. It seemed like I just did no damage at all. I cannot find anything wrong with my build. Maybe I was just playing it wrong since its my first time as ED like stated before. | |

I'll add one for boots when I have more time too ^^ Basically: 1) t1 life - matatl's - empty prefix on two toned boots (bought 3 pairs for 10c each) 2) prefixes cannot be changed + scour, or annul and pray 3) multimod 4) hunter slam (or any influence you want, I just wanted the desecrated ground immunity for no particular reason) |

Thanks for the Guide, its an awesome build.

A small question though : why do you place the green nightmare near fervour whereas near to instability (witch side) it gives us 7% dodge and 20% frenzy charge gain ? | |

" Because it would require us to take frost walker, giving us 15% cold res for 2 skill points. placing a gree nightmare isn't worth it imo for the skill point requirements (2 points is a jewel socket, take one instead). On the other hand, survivalist gives flat evade chance (that stat is insanely powerful, shame sources of it are sparse), evasion, max cold res and 33% total resistances for 2 points. Since we already would really like to take survivalist, green nightmare is just the cherry on the cake in this spot. _________________________ Completely unrelated, does hardened scars work with hybrid flasks? Can we have enduring hybrid flasks for it? If yes for the two... Why isn't this annoint the go to for every single build? Also it just crossed my mind that there is a hybrid 2% attack dodge roll on abyss jewel. With one in my belt (we don't need onslaught anymore if we get lucky on bow), I'm reaching the magic 75% dodge cap, and that's without freedom of movement. Yay, we can drop freedom of movement for soul of steel again! :p |

I wish I saw this thread at the start of the league. I followed Ziz's build guide and has been good but in t16 bosses and metamorphs the single target dps is too slow. Also that thread is super dead so no support unlike the action here!
Then I saw this video and was intrigued by the dmg so swapped to his build; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPnnfqQvK2U But the lowered ED and general squishiness feeling isn't sitting well with me. (died much more on T16 maps pre-boss since swapping) This guide seems to be a healthy mix of the two? Might have to give it a go, have 15 ex atm burning a hole in my pocket, hopefully can get up and running nicely for that. So i'm up to lvl 91 so far... still working on getting ED to max level, 20%, and corrupt.(leveling a few gems first on weapon swap before committing to corrupting them) will probably start doing 20% qual on all my gems shortly... but past that....

So I've just migrated to this build and I am using 6L blight in my chest as I really like the skill. From my old build i have a spreading rot with corrupted implicit 'corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you' which I'd like to keep.
In your 'alternative items' part you say that this jewel is viable if running 6L blight, but you should still run wither totems; why is this when my blight is already applying wither? Is this because it doesn't stack up enough vs bosses? I see the jewel puts wither for 2 seconds and totem does for longer.
